"Even". San Antonio is fukin fantastic, It's one of the most visited cities in America. Every time I ever went there was a fantastic experience.

Houston wasnt ever driven by anything like the tech industry. It was just pure raw oil that built it, so we never got any of the cool chit. Then some pretty ****gy time restrictions on alcohol consumption and ordinances pretty much gurantee this place sucks to visit.

Other than the zoo idk what to tell people to do when they are here. "Eat here, go to the zoo"

Yup, and that cheap cost is starting that upward tick of no return. Microhousing is exploding and yet pricing is just ticking up every quarter

But the jobs here are like nothing anywhere else. Get a 2 year degree and can start making 60-70k right off the bat.

My dad actually died at a job site in Port Arthur. Fuking hated that town. He always went there as a project manager for all that new construction they been doing over last 2 decades.

Boring ass chitty town. One time I went fishing off a canal a gator popped out of the water swimming towards me. Fuk that chithole

The only thing you really have to worry about is the possibility of cheap beer and perishable goods as grocery chains rerout things around the hurricane.

Trying to GTFO Houston within the next 10 years. I love living here on a day to day basis, but I want to get away from people in general.
