36 hours, 2 showers and an intense hour-long swim later, I still get subtle wiffs of Spicebomb. What an awesome performer. Picking it up for the winter as soon as I see a good price.
Do note I have a very sensitive nose, even though I wear fragrances frequently.

Nah, I never pay MSRP. I just got 60mL from the FGN on ********, after my balance I had in my account it came to $48. I used to be able to get the 120mL retail bottle for $113 back in the Walgreens days.

There is an aventus group on FB (the aventus lounge) that may be of interest to you. You can get discussion on the avrious batches and find some more you may want.

I'm not really into Aventus like that. I sold my 4oz 15y11 on there and still have partials or decants of stuff from 2011-2014. The new stuff is just way too different from what it used to be that i have little interest in it.

How is it different? I love my Aventus. My 30 ml decant is getting near the bottom. Still has a ways but sometime within the next year I'd probably buy another one. But now you have me worried. How is the newer Aventus different? The one I have is from heck I think 3 or so years ago.

Nah brah, for real, if you love the current stuff, then it is perfect for you and i would not be worried about it. If you dont have the older point of reference, then don't go ruining a perfectly fine frag for yourself. The current stuff is good also as a fragrance, but it is a bit too much on the fruitier side of things than i prefer. It used to have a bit more birch/smoke and the older oakmoss that made it smoky and last for a longer time than it does now. That changed around 2012.

It is not worth the premium (again IMO) to chase the older stuff if the current version is fine and works for you SRS.

Picked this up today... Got a sample from Nordstrom a few weeks ago and have been digging it big time.

Not a big fan of clean/fresh scents, so I'm happy to have found something in this category for once.

Tried Dior Homme eau for men today. This was a really pleasent scent. Seems pretty versatile for spring through fall where I live. Within 10 minutes of spraying it on myself a girl at work who has never spoken to me said something along the line of "wow you smell really good! what are you wearing?"
It remind me a bit of prada l'homme. I'd give Dior homme eau for men a 9/10
