RIP to Piana who will enjoy life in heaven, started watching Rich back when he was with Mutant, then he started his own sh*t and it blew up, def got me into lifting and I loved his brutal honesty.

Dude's so honest he told people in a video to actually go buy real groceries before buying his supplements, that's a man I respect.

rest in peace to Rich Piana.

Didn't really follow the dude but RIP. Always sad to see someone who loves lifting go.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

What a sad shame. I see people joking around in this thread, which sucks, but when a death is so avoidable, as it was with Piana, part of me understands why.

Kids, learn from this. Trust me, when you hit mid-40s if you've made smart choices in your life - there is no reason why you can not have a great life every single day. Don't fool yourself right now thinking you're young and that your 40s will never happen and when they do you'll be old, broken down and washed up. Wrong. You can peak in your 40s. I assume you can peak in your 50s, 60s or whenever, the fact is - every day of life is a precious gift and don't be a fool now and rob yourself of that gift later down the road.

Right now in my life, I love every day, I am full of joy and happiness and I embrace every day with gusto. I do not do the things I did in my 20s or 30s but as I've grown older, I've transitioned and found new things to embrace and find peace with. You all can and hopefully will, too.

Do not think your goals when you are 20 or whenever will ever define you. They shouldn't if you do things right. Obsessing over something here-and-now that will destroy you later in life is the worst mistake you can ever make.

Please, learn from Piana's mistake. Live a full, rich and good life and be wise. Destroying yourself for some dream you have when you're 21 will trap you. Not only can it lead to an early demise, but by doing that you very well might end up doomed as Rich Piana was in other ways - which is living with the same ideals/goals he had when he was a young man as he entered true adulthood.

That is to me as tragic as his death.

Life isn't always about living hedonistically, carefreely or however it is you spend your days dreaming and fighting for as a young man. Life is about transition and finding joy in every stage of your life. You will someday find that the things you crave now no longer interest you and you will find deeper happiness in things you probably now consider worthless.

I feel terrible about Piana's death but in many ways he was living a shallow existence well before this happened.

Please, learn from this and take stock in your own life and existence and open yourself up to the possibility that growing old isn't such a bad thing.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to JUSA again.

A death is always sad, but did anyone not see this coming? A body is a rather fragile thing - throwing tons of chemicals and food at it while pushing it to the physical limit on a regular basis will eventually lead to a collapse.

This is why I don't wake up from bed.

I fell asleep last night rich was Alive

I woke up first thing I see is rich piana is gone.

I'm going back to bed.

I loved his series and he was a character. I feel really bad for his friends and family. Started watching his videos when he made bigger by the day, my girl and I would watch them together. This is pretty upsetting news

R.I.P hopefully you and zyzz are in the big gym in the sky spotting each other.

Am I the only one that thinks Chanel bopped him with a hammer?
Piana's girlfriend says she tried to catch the former Mr. California bodybuilding champ when he collapsed but couldn't due to his massive size and weight.Chanel told officials Piana struck his head during the fall.

RIP big guy.

Legitimate mental health issues certainly post steroids, every chance pre and that's what drew him there.

I try not to judge, everyone has their reasons for doing everything they do, however misguided. Walk a mile an all that.
