Down in houston, and haven't seen much rain or wind yet, I think forecasts are changing for the better here. Some rain for 2-3 days sounds likely, but im doubting its gonna be anything crazy anymore.

I believe that is mainly because it was such a small storm. But, if you were near the landfall, the life around you is probably no more. Plus, with it slowing down, the flooding is gonna mess up a lot of people.

Btw, we just got back from HEB and everything was fully stocked. Prepare yourselves with foods and beers! Be prepared not to be able to drive for a week.

Yeah this is what I have heard about Houston from the beginning. Luckily its 30 inches over 6 days so thats giving it a lot of time to drain as well, but still that is like what we usually average a year, in 6 days.
