Where are you? I'm in helotes, away from the action and it's been raining and windy all day. I got friends in cibolo and southside prepping for floods. I saw a powerline on 281 bitters went down taking out a bunch of peoples power.

Evacuated back to my parents in Austin though. Friends that stayed are saying it isn't nearly as bad as what they expected. But then again, it rains for an hour in Galveston and everything is flooded lulz

The Woodlands has been pretty lucky so far. The good news is I was able to make a liquor store and meat market run. Gonna smoke some pork shoulder and pound some St. Arnold's Oktoberfest during tomorrow's festivities.

Getting bad near buffalo bayou. The water level there is expected to rise another 12 ft by tonight. To add some perspective the water level is currently 1 ft higher than the previous record.

have been through quite a few hurricanes in florida. we got outer bands of it or something because we had the worst lightning ive ever experienced. legit huge azz lightning bolts every 5 seconds for about 2 hours

cant imagine what its like in the middle of that
