UFC fans going full potato saying that it was a sure thing that Mayweather was going to lose. This is nothing more than shutting up the idiots

oh dear..

can already see all the mma knockout junkies making execuses / not understanding the stopage

dont get me wrong, i like mma/ufc too. But you gotta appreciate boxing is technically a whole different ball game. The ref saved Conor from getting his brain bounced around for another 3 rounds even if he didn't get KO'd, as he has a decent chin. He was out on his feet, not defending properly anymore

Anyone thats followed Floyd, knew this is what he'd do. He's never been a 1 - 3 round knockout artist.

Plus people be acting like Conor was just some idiot off the streets who threw on some gloves. He's trained for years, plenty of which has included boxing / head movement basic fighters instincts. He essentially could of been a pro boxer, just so happened he pursued a different sport.

The guy does MMA taking kicks and elbows to the head...gloves to the head just will barely add to the damage he has already taken

McGregor is tough, he wasn't going to fall...but he knew what he signed up for and so did the ref

It was a good call. Would have been over by the 2nd shot in MMA rules, because he was already non-responsive by then, completely not defending, gloves all the way down. Ref was probably waiting for Conor to get KO'd by the next few hits, but I think anymore would have been dangerous.

MW was putting some really solid shots there, so brain damage is not out of the question. Those were shots that would KO any normal person.

He would have fallen down but the ropes stopped him. After that the ref let Connor try to defend himself and he couldn't so he called it. People don't like it but it was the right call.

Or people just don't understand the rules of boxing and why/how you get points. McGegor missed so many punches in those rounds. He was just swinging to swing.

You guys seriously are delusional if you think Mayweather wasn't gonna knock his lights out. He was throwing some pretty heavy punches near the end and that last 3-4 combo he landed right before the ref ended it, any more he would've been knocked out.

I box brah. I'm not a pro or anything, but between the Davis fight and those first 3 round scores, it's obvious the judges aren't remotely impartial.

I think the fight brought a lot of casuals and MMA fans to watch the fight, which meant Connor nut hugging like no other. And with the nut hugging, comes the crazy cope post match.

Literally, Floyd had the match go exactly how he wanted. Once he was getting tired, which was really evident, he started pushing Connor relentlessly.

People saying this like it's an accomplishment.

He always feels out the opponents and the strategy the first few rounds. They're pretty much gimmies

I don't think MMA fans know boxing strategy since I think they fight for 5, 5min rounds I think, it's just pounce and finish, boxing is chess.
