How would you feel if you sold a gun that was later used in a mass shooting?

Probably the same as selling a car to a drunk driver that kills someone

No restrictions, although some states like CA have passed laws restricting ammo.

They both suck at 'damage' vs anything larger than a tin can or a squirrel. Generally centerfire like the .25 auto will be a little more reliable ignition than .22lr, but something like a CCI Mini Mag is so damn reliable (in a decent gun) that specific firearm and magazine qualities will be the biggest determinant of reliability and small cheap junk like a Raven .25 probably isn't great.

So no questions asked at state or Federal level if someone wants 10k+ rounds of any type? Didn't know that. Hope it never changes.

Given the previous 8 years of administration, the level of hoarding with respect to ammo has been crazy. Fluctuating prices have also made people stock up when there is a sale. Ammo goes on sale, people pick up a few cases (1k a pop).

Just about everyone I know personally who has more than just a pistol or two has easily that much.

just got my permit a few months ago and started shooting different guns at the range

any recommendations for not only home protection, but possibly concealed carry?

suggestions on where to buy guns at a reasonable price?

What have you shot? Have you had any formal training or instructions, such as an NRA basic? If not, probably start there.

A good local gun shop is a good place to buy from, compare to online sites like grab a gun and buds gun shop to see what reasonable prices should be (Expect to pay a tad bit more in person than online but don't forget there is an FFL transfer fee if you order online...somewhere like PA you should be able to find a reasonably priced LGS aka local gun store most likely)

Glock 19, Glock 26, Smith and Wesson Shield 9mm, start there

I took a class with the local township for gun safety and such. it was very informative and quite helpful.

I've shot a .45, glock 17 or 19 (forgot which one, but it was nice) and a 380

thanks for the help.

Depends on what kind of firearm you are talking about. On my AR-15 I like a sling, red dot, and a flashlight.

Have a light on my Glock 19 for home defense. Mods like that are a lot of personal preference.

Depends on the gun and its intended purpose, but a bayonet should not be on a weapon unless you are planning to fix bayonets, yell TALLY HO and charge into the line of opposing enemy
