Yeah I was high as fukk hahaha. Just watched it a 2nd time. The episode went by way faster and it felt like less happened. Still a really good episode that was put together well.

Still the king's landing scene with Jaime riding off was epic. Watched this a few times before class today

The army of dead really going past the wall deep as fuk

Damn the thought of Tyrion playing Dany and co. Cersei questioned why he chooses to be helping her and it had him thinking. He also thinks she's pregnant with Jaime's kid.

Chit he really might be siding with Cersei and his lannister family. He was muggin mean outside of that door. Next season will be too clean with Euron bringing over the Golden Company

The books will never be finished

Book readers would still be in the dark about R+L=J. It's over 20 fcking years later and it's still not confirmed in the books so I don't understand how people can realistically except these books to ever be finished

Still the best show in the world, but my biggest disappointment this season probably is not seeing the direwolves

Where the fuk is Ghost? And what about summer, I must have forgot, was Summer killed?

the way they killed Little Finger kinda made no sense, might as well off him before, he did nothing in this season. seems like he missed his big chance to fuk something up, or he has something prepared in case he dies.

Ya brah. Remember he bit the dust in the cave of the 3-eyed raven? Just Ghost and Nymeria left now.

Very curious to see what GRRM has in store for them in the books.

^thanks for reminding me

This is the problem with having read the books and watching the show. I confuse some events together. When the show is over I'm gonna marathon it from season 1 to season 8 then read the books again.

You cannot build up this army the way you did at hardhome only for them to be defeated by a bunch of humans. I mean they were climbing on walls, buildings, fences etc. All sorts of craziness. I hope they dont go potato and make them look inept in season 8.
2be far the wildlings got caught off guard. First thing they did was trying to run away no wonder they got wrecked. Dothraki and unsullied on the other hand are highly skilled fearless warriors. Dothraki and unsullied will face wights with poverty wildling equipment. They are one of the most powerful armies in the world. I can see them kicking some wight ass. But i have a feeling the white walkers will suprise em with sum wight animals and ice spiders .

Hope rhaegal and drogon will be good air support against viserion lol

I've mentioned it before but I'm seeing some people are calling the show predictable just because stuff it took book readers years to figure out is coming to fruition, whereas they just got into the show late and read all the theories offhand so think it was all so obvious from the start. I don't get why people don't understand we're at the point, 70 hours later, where expendable characters have died and everyone left has some kind of purpose/arc to fill before dying now. You can't kill off main characters now and expand the new ones like you could 2/3 seasons into the show, where most of the story was still waiting to be told.

How would have killing Jaime at that point progressed any storylines at all? We already know Cersei is crazy and the only person it would really affect would be Tyrion - but they're already heading north for a bigger purpose, so he'd just hate his sister more? Cersei's only redeeming attribute has been her love for her kids/Jaime, her killing Jaime just turns her into the black and white villain people are complaining the NK is. Why take the complexity out of the Cersei character? The fact that people were actualyl worried for Jaime in that scene sums her character perfectly, unpredictable. Her killing Jaime would turn her into a predictable character that has clearly lost all sense, which then people in this thread would probably complain about.

Death just for the sake of shock value is bad writing and pandering more than a show becoming "predictable" because storylines/meetings it has set up for years are finally coming to fruition.

Do people think we'll see Jaqen again? Could maybe be someone in the Golden Company whose face he has taken? Would be cool.

Hopefully when the Nights King wins he'll take Sansa for his ice queen and make some great great great grand daddy grand daughter porn.

In realtea she'll probably marry supercuck Theon who sort of rescued her from the tower.

Still holding out hope everyone dies and white walkers win. Show has gone full potato with tree singers and dragon humpers.

Generally agree with what you're saying. But there is death for shock value, and death as a consequence of actions. Previously in the show, these things often existed at the same time. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Now, Jaime can full on charge a dragon and he gets plot saved without even being captured. Jon can leave safety to try and get a 100 kill streak and then get dragged into a frozen lake and surrounded and his uncle will plot save him.

I agree that the characters left probably have a "purpose" and story that needs to be told. But that's been the case with most of the deaths in the show and what made it captivating. There are also plenty of characters still alive that I doubt will have any further meaningful purpose in the show, who could and should have died this season (Thurmond getting gang raped by wights and then coming out with just a literal scratch on his face)

I love how the story has gone and wouldn't change it, but I'd love to see how the story would look with the White Walkers invading with Ned, Robert, Tywin, Stannis, and Oberyn still alive.

Yeah Jaime dying then I would have understood, it's more people talking about why Cersei didn't follow through.

Drogon killing Jaime would have bought a different dynamic to the Tyrion/Dany storyline, Cersei would probs go off the rails, and more importantly it would have finished Jaime's story in a sense by showing everyone what kind of person Jaime really was, risking his life to end the war to save thousands, charging a dragon full on would definitely go in the Kingsguard book - I'm definitely not defending everything the writers do, the Dorne stuff was written so badly post-Oberyn, the writing of all the smart characters (LF, Varys, Tyrion) went to **** and the Winterfell plot this season was absolute rubbish - but it just seems like some people are watching the show to just find things to complain about and then miss half of what's actually happening. Most of the complaints on the last few pages get answered on the show.

Jon originally clearing out the Wights so he could jump on Drogon without any chasing him never really bothered me, as if you watch the scene again, there was barely any left as Drogon was basically creating a perimeter around Jon with his fire, who didn't know that the NK could take out the dragon.

I think Jon (and Dany) are the clearest fantasy tropes in terms of characters in the show. Jon has survived so much improbable stuff since coming back from death (should have died like 3 times at the BoB - there was two scenes where a chit ton of arrows rained down on him and they all missed), at the BoB it just seemed like he was daring the gods that bought him back to life to kill him. It's why I think he'll die before the end and after he has lived out his purpose for being bought back to life. So I just think divine intervention when I think Jon, not sure what else is keeping him alive
I agree that the characters left probably have a "purpose" and story that needs to be told. But that's been the case with most of the deaths in the show and what made it captivating. I get where you're coming from but most deaths of characters with a purpose still (Robb/Ned etc) was early on, so we had time to develop the consequences of those deaths progressing other storylines, as they had strong connections to our characters. Ned's death put Robb on his path, Robb/Catelyn's death but Arya on her path etc. In the show LF was only a ward for the weird kid, he allied himself with the Starks who all hate him - no other characters in the show will care one bit that he's dead and he had no family so it was an inconsequential death.

I feel like all the characters that seem to have plot armor (Jon/Dany/Jaime/Cersei/Tyrion/Sansa/Arya) are nearing the final stage of their story and those five have been the main characters throughout all 5 books essentially - it wouldn't make sense to end them without reaching the end of their story in my opinion.

Tormund could have died but I guess they need someone we care about involved as the first line of defence against the Whitewalkers next season. He might even have a confrontation with the Night King along with Beric which will reveal something new about him (does the mofo speak?) that will impact a later meeting with Jon and co. If he just retreats back to Winterfell to join the rest I agree it's a waste.

Why didn't Jamie continue practicing sword fighting with his left arm? If he had carried on all this time he would be at least somewhat competent with it. It sucks because he feels so useless and vulnerable now.... at any moment someone can come at him and he can't do chit.

If Maester Aemon had lived and Daenerys learns he is a pure blooded Targaryen and that she still has no idea that Jon Snow is a Targaryen.. Would she have been willing to bone Maester Aemon to produce Targaryen babies?

I would rather fap to Maester Aemon vs Daenerys than Jon Snow vs Dany
