Anyone else thinking the Dothraki will be completely destroyed? They are basically desert light cavalry being sent to fight in freezing conditions in unfamiliar terrain.

tl;dr too few Walkers for my liking
in the scene with the NK resurrecting Viserion he walks past a chad WW with a very solid jawline and defined cheekbones, im guessing none of the WW's on horses are easy to kill, as opposed to the footsoldiers like the one Jon killed in the semifinal ep who was on foot.

The entire wight plan. 'Nuff said.

Supporting Dany's most powerful ally (Jon) putting himself in extreme danger. Then telling Dany not to rescue her only ally. Losing Viserion sucked, but otherwise Dany would have lost Jon (and the support of the North). The whole situation could have been avoided without the dumb plan.

Bringing the entire crew Cersei's home turf, were she could have easily had scorpions ready to kill the dragons, wildfire hidden under the dragon pit, or a million other murderous plans.

Believing Cersei when she agrees to cooperate. It's Cersei, yo.

Summer's death was supposed to be symbolic that Winter has arrived. They could always just not use them to save money, like they have with Ghost. We haven't seen Ghost in ages.

I was always under the impression The Walkers = Craster's sons. Of which there were 99 sacrificed. So the Night King and 90ish Walkers?

Yeah there are a lot more then 3 or 4, without question. Craster was pumping out kids non-stop for who knows how long.

Ice dragon knocked out the entire wall. He prob kept on flying south knocking down half the castles in the north... would take maybe 3 hours. One shot of that sh*t would knock a fire dragon on his ass

Still soooo much unknown about the white walkers(I always feel like a ******* elongating phrases like so)

We have no idea why they're active now after thousands of years...some theories are when the dragons were born it brought magic back but the show literally started with White Walkers attacking Nights Watch rangers way before the dragons were hatched.

We have no idea what their actual reason for living(or not living?) is

We don't know if the NK was making other White Walkers for thousands of years

We don't know if the other WWs are immortal like the NK or if they age normally and can die of age.

Did he just wait around for a wildling who fuked his own daughters and donated his sons to the NK?

I would imagine he was making WWs before Craster but we really haven't seen a lot of wws in the same place.

Still a lot of chit to reveal when it comes to them. I hope we get some legit history and motive for them next season.

Was driving home from work last night and felt legit sad that this series is just about over. It's honestly the best TV show I've ever watched and has entertained me for many, many hours. Cant wait to re-watch entire series before the start of S8 but really dissapointed that it's likely 18 months away and then thats the end. Hold me men.


The more I think about the upcoming season and potiential conflicts or storylines the more I get excited.

-Jaimie is headed to Wintefell I assume, which means for sure Dany/Jon will know that Cersei betrayed them. He will also see Arya there, and Jamie is on her list. Would be amazing to see Arya kill Jamie, return to KL to end Cersei. Dont know if thats how it will play out but dayum some good setup for conflict.

-Finding out what the NK/WWers are after. Dont forget about Crastors Keep where he was sacrificing his kids to appease the white walkers. It shows that they can atleast be reasoned with in some way

-Sam + Bran finding out about the NK. The issue with Brans power is he likely doesnt know where to look. Luckily Sam has all the books from the citadel that likely have the history of the white walkers, how they were created, when, etc. Should get to see some legit visions next season and I enjoyed the brief Sam/Bran scene last episode.

-Arya... If my thoughts above dont occur, I'm so damn curious how Arya fits into the war with the dead. Definitely my favorite remaining character.


Now.. we wait.. ._.

It's an assumption I made, because they aren't being risen from the dead. So instead of fallen soldiers being resurrected, these are just babies being turned into whites by the head honcho himself. Maybe they grow up accelerated. Or maybe there's a bunch of Wight Walker children, maybe the bittersweet ending is Jonny Aegon Targsnowsand having to murder the Wight Younglings.

They're not guards per se they're kings guard (queens guard for cersei). That is the armor of the kings guard used in earlier seasons

Not sure why you have a hard on about this.

All I have said is Littlefinger withered away into an irrelevant character they needed to remove from the show, the way they did the Arya/Sansa team up was very contrived and not fleshed out well. How Littlefingers death was handled was a disappointment to ME.

I know some of lead actors/actresses are getting big paychecks, but I guess the CGI is still stupid expensive. Maybe there's some contractual limitations with money? I don't know, I don't get it either.

Think about what they were filming. Can you name another show that has had such crazy production cost?

Battle scenes, dragon CGI, amount of actors and extras, costumes, etc...

It sucks but this is like 3-4 movies in one season. If it's not bullchit and next season's episodes will be about 1.5 hours per episode that's like 4-6 movies.

Yes it's super popular but it's not like Breaking Bad or something stupid like the Big Bang Theory where more people have access to the channel and the cost of what they're filming is substantially lower.

Dragons, zombies, war/battle scenes = big money.

If anything they'd have more of an issue with the God of Light...he's the one bringing dead people back to "life"

NK is more like animating the dead, those fukers aren't alive anymore and don't think for themselves.

Whenever a writer comes up with an explanation for these sorts of things it's never as good as whatever I didn't quite imagine it would be.
