It's all luck. I make a point to check out local stores that I pass by to see if they have any old bottles. Generally, you have to look in the poorer neighbourhoods (sorry) where the stock tends to sit for longer.

Also , I have good relations with many discount shops who were able to help me track some down in their stock and more open to selling testers.

Imaginary Authors - Saint Julep

Saint Julep was launched in 2017. The fragrance features tangerine, mint, sugar, magnolia, whiskey, ambergris and watery notes.
Bomb.

Got a 2ml sample of this over last week and I am pleased to say I have finally found a wearable,enjoyableIA scent that I like. IA's stuff is very nichey smelling, very 'out there' beyond my comfort zone but this Saint Julep is gorgeous. None of the notes outshine the other. It's not too minty, it's not too boozy, it's not too flowery or sugary - it's just perfect. I think the first note I pick up on is the sugar cube and tangerine, surprisingly. The mint and boozy whiskey notes are secondary and seem to be the soul of this blend as I smell myself now 90 minutes after application. The silage on this stuff is heavenly.

At $95 for 50ml, the price is a bit steep IMO. I can already tell this is not going to be a beast performer even being an EDP concentration. The price is high when you consider small indie houses like Gallagher and Dame give you a full 100ml for around $100, I don't know if the juice justifies the price here. If I found a used bottle of this on FGN or eBay for a reasonable price, I would buy it but maybe not MSRP.

In short, good stuff, definitely worth trying, boner inducing silage, a great way to not smell likeeveryone elseyet still smell great.

Perfumania, a retail and wholesale company that bills itself as the largest fragrance retailer in the country, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in federal court on Saturday.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the company plans to close 64 of its existing 226 stores.

Yea. He has good deals but i'd stay away. Had to keep sending him msgs in order to get my items. Once they came in one of them was missing. Had to wait a few more days to get that. Figured i wouldn't order from him again unless i was ok with waiting a while. Hate having to keep IM'ing someone on fbook

Yesterday I left home at 7:50 am. Did one spray on my tshirt on each shoulder and one on the front of the neck. 3 sprays total.

Went to work, got a compliment from a female customer around 2 pm. Finished work at 5:30, scent trail still strong.

Went straight to gym (just changed my pants to tracks) could still easily smell sillage. Finished gym, went home and cooled off. Scent still strong.

Finally showered at around 9pm. And before bed at 12 I went back to my dirty tshirt just to see if the smell was still there. And it was, and STILL potent.


Moral of the story: Club de nuit is God-tier. Spray on your shirt for maximum longevity.

I get half the longevity on skin compared to clothes. I like one spray on the back of the head, and one on the shirt. For outside performance I add 2 on the jacket/sweater. My Aventus decant is for very special occations, CDNI is something I use any night I'm outside the house. (most of the time 2 half sprays)

Ordered from him 4 or 5 times. Poor communication every time but always comes through. You have to ask him for tracking numbers, which is weird. He doesn't offer them up on his own.

Yeah dude has horrible customer service but the deals are good. I'm okay waiting a while but 8 days?!?! lol. I've never had decants come in later than 4 days
