ok theory time. John snow born to a stark, ice dragon = made in north. Jon snow brought back to life. John Snow is a targeryn, stark, white walker who can control the ice dragon after another dragon ( Reagar) is killed. John snow lives after Jamie sacrifices himself for him ignorer to redeem his oath as a king's guard. Jon snow beats white walkers off but 90% of north dies and Cersei sends golden company into north --> Dany dying leaving Cersei and Jon to fight. Jon gets wounded and Cersei takes dagger to finish off a job her soldiers did. Tyrion kills Cersei / Jon becomes king.

I'm already feeling the withdrawals. Nothing to look forward to next weekend... The rest of the 2017 TV season is dull and full of chitters.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the finale, but one specific detail caught my attention when Cersei was explaining her true plans to Jaime: The Golden Company andelephants. And according to the ASOIAF wikia, theGolden Companyreally sounds like it could introduce an exciting new angle to the entire conflict.
The Golden Company consist of 10,000 men, several thousands horses and a number of elephants.

A partial breakdown:

500 knights, each having three horses.
500 squires, each having one horse.
1,000 archers, a third of these archers are listed as crossbowmen while another third are said to be using double-curved horn-and-sinew bows of the east. The final part of the archers consist of men with Westerosi blood who use big yew long bows, and fifty summer islanders using great bows of goldenheart.
As far as numbers go, Dany had taken 8,000 Unsullied + trainees, and I think it was ~100,000 Dothraki. Then there are however many Lannisters sided with her after the defeat, and presumably all of them heading North.

After the ballista reveal earlier on, only to make one appearance, I would expect that Cersei would use the time to fortify the ever-loving hell out of King's Landing if her plan is basically, "either we fight the rest of Dany's forces or we fight the undead." At least something better than a thousand barrels of pitch; ballistas in the ramparts, maybe trenches to deal with the possibility of Unsullied - or unbeknownst to them,undeadDothraki riders.

As for Ghost, well, this is what happened:

Something I just thought about regarding B = NK.... I know it's a small scene and I know the white walkers tend to leave one person alive, but when Sam gets stuck alone in the storm and they all pass him, one of the walkers looks directly at him and let's him go. Well remember last episode when Bran says "you're a good man Samwell"?? Just food for thought

Who was the guy that Ned fought outside of the windmil or whatever when Jon was born?

Lastly, in the first season (or so) there was another taegaryean with long blond hair. He was cocky and wanted to claim the iron throne. He died (forget how). Who was he? Another brother but one closer to danys age?

I binge watched all the seasons. Kind of a bad idea cause it's hard to keep everything in line
