This. repped.

1950s - B&W TV costing a year's salary, driving a clunker that breaks down every 3 months, no entertainment other than beating wife/kids. Wife tells you anything other than missionary is a sin against god. Having to call your boss sir and be his dog. 90% of people left high school to be farmers and tradies struggling to make ends meet. Shops sells fuk all other than basic necessities. **** priests molesting you through childhood, and church is the rule of law.

1980s - Lots of cheap entertainment, lots of good quality products, massive upward mobility. People were being educated free/low cost college, lots of career progression, sexual liberation, discos, sloots everywhere. Ability to travel round the world cheaply, cheap houses, cheap land, GOAT everything. 90s had GOAT games, sega genesis and SNES. Peak of the bodybuilding, arnie craze, most asthetic look. GOAT movies, alien, terminator. Imagine if you were the first one to see alien in the cinema. hnnnnnng. Lots of new tech, walkman, discman, insane fridges and washers. Rise of new and exciting entertainment, boybands, girlbands, rap, classics like sienfeild.

2018 - Only good thing is internet and games, and even that is highly debatable. Everything else is chit, chit jobs, high student loans, chit finance, expensive and chit everything. BB if filled with youtube fake natties, pregnant mass monsters, or 0 discipline "powerlifters" shoving burgers into their faces. 1 bed drugden costs 1.5million plus your kidneys, soul and your firstborn.

I would, but only if I "forget" about modern life, like I wouldn't be able to go back to 1950's if I knew internet and all that shiet existed and I won't get to use it, plus I actually am accustomed to the music of present days so going back would be to hard to change my tastes for that and everything else we have these days.

But if I got the choice right now just to start fresh with no recollection of anything in the 50's I'd give it a go lol

Honestly I think that 99% of you would be betting to come back after a day in 1950.

You wake up on a mattress that has less quality than the average dog bed today.
You'll either be cold or hot, because most houses didn't have A/C and central heat was quite a luxury.
Go into the shower, just a basic shower head that sprays unevenly, soap barely washes and hard to wash off, you still stink after the shower.
You shave with crap shaving crème, razor that cuts your face if you aren't careful.
Get in your car and better start it just right or you'll flood it. Start it and almost die in the fumes. Drivability and handling is crap compared to todays cars.
Get to work and your job is probably more physical, white or blue collar.
If you are a non-smoker, you aren't going to like it. Everyone smokes, everywhere with no consideration of others.
Racism, sexism, and other things, you'll see things that will make even your rather racist/sexist's stomach's turn. Say something and you'll be accused of being a commie which is pretty much a ****phile in those days. In parts of the South, get caught being even friendly to a black person and you'll be accused of being a commie and might end up getting beaten or dead.
Through the day you'll just notice all the things that you take for granted today, that haven't been invented yet.

Nah gyms with decent equipment were probably a lot harder to come by and they probably didn't have bidet attachments for toilets back then, so I'd be weak af and have a dirty Angus all the time. No thx Jeff.

It's a lot easier to get rich from nothing today compared to 1950s given you have a good head on your shoulders. 1950s was a lot better in every way except for the lack of technology but I'm ethnic so I'll pass

Nah. The furthest I'd go back are the 80s and even then, I wouldn't do it. I like being a 90s kid because I got to enjoy my school years during the simpler pre-internet times, and enjoyed the early and good years of ******** as well as the release of the iPhone in college, but I'm still young enough to enjoy any crazy future tech.
