If Theon is sailing to the Iron Islands, Euron won't be there. He's heading to Essos to pick up the Golden Company (merc army). So it's fairly likely that Theon saves his sister, though I'm really not sure how this is going to play out from there.

Thoros/Beric saw the ice dragon as they were both on the wall. I imagine they are planning to retreat to Winterfell to inform them of the breach of the wall and the ice dragon.

I honestly have no idea how the "war" is going to play out, the ice dragon sure puts a wrench in things. Makes all the castles in the North very susceptible to easily being breached.

i didnt have any complaints about her acting from season 1 up to now. never liked the character daenerys targaryen but she did a good job acting it imo, she owned the character.

Euron will be killed off some how and Theon will prob end up running the Iron Islands. Some 1v1 duel or some chit.

I am very curious how the golden company is going to come into play.

Also didnt we see a chitload of ravens there? Likely Bran already saw everything that went down and is going to tell people

Is Yara in a dungeon at Pyke or is she with Euron? Cause euron isn't going to Pyke, Theon will show up at Pyke to an empty place.

Euron is going to Essos

Not an actor but I'm pretty sure the script would dictate whether she was supposed to react how she did or freak out and scream?

Like Dante's inferno? I think they should keep it a westernized style. Don't really want any androgynous GoT characters.

Dante's Inferno did it really well, had a very dark feel to it.

Dany who is meant to be a queen is meant to breakdown in the middle of all those wights/that danger and with everyone still needing rescuing? Don't know what people were expecting. Her crying/confessing to Jon about it being the only children she'll have is probably the most vulnerable you've seen her character since season 1 when she has to kill Drogo

She's not an amazing actress but she also is nothing like Dany in real life, you ever watch an interview of Emilia Clarke she's really bubbly/jokey, Dany is always so serious. I know the whole point of acting is being someone else, but it's no doubt easier playing yourself. Compared to someone like Jon, the actor actually is pretty broody irl interviews, which is basically all he does on the show.

Not so much anymore but she also has to speak some made up language more than anyone else - when she's giving that speech to the Dothraki on top of Drogon speaking their made up language, whilst also trying to act commanding/inspirational, can't be that easy.

My only issue with GoT is that Dragon Bish has the worst story written for her and I don't feel her actions matches her personality.

Bro i thought exactly the same, which is why I disliked Daenerys up till like season 4. She went from soft, innocent little teenager to the most staunch, hardened leader in the show very fast - and her experiences didn't seem to matchup with that kind of change. I think THAT was due to some slight overacting, but directing influences acting, and GoT uses multiple directors. It's why guys like Peter Jackson do many takes to get inflections or expressions just right.

I started being less critical when I got more into her story. Plus she was the only bright spot on the show after the red wedding trauma.

Ya I'm planning to binge watch it again after I finish Outlander so that I can fully grasp the story over like 2 weeks vs 7 years.

honestly GRRM fuked up, i feel like his story should take another 4 books to finish. you got her invading and you got the ww invading. that's two different wars. well unless he rushes the story like the tv series.

"Two Favorite Ideas Are off the Table: Dunk and Egg (the adventures of Dunk a.k.a. Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg, a.k.a. But he says, unequivocally, “we’re not doing Dunk & Egg.” Martin points out that he’s only written three of ten or eleven planned Dunk and Egg novellas. “We all know how slow I am, and how fast a television show can move. I don’t want to repeat what happened with Game of Thrones itself, where the show gets ahead of the books.” Very smart, George.

HBO also won’t be doing Robert’s Rebellion—the story of how young Robert Baratheon (with the help of his friend Ned Stark) took the Iron Throne. “By the time I finish writing A Song of Ice and Fire, you will know every important thing that happened in Robert’s Rebellion,” Martin promises."

Yup obviously the most well known is the stag that killed the direwolf mother, Robert touching the doomed starks, and a chit ton of other stuff.

I hate the notion that a few recounts from characters are enough to cover Robert's Rebellion. That was a sentiment of alot of fans as well. You could go so deep into that story.

He says the books will fill you win, so does that mean he wants the show to cover topics that aren't covered well in the books? Because I remember him complaining about the show outpacing his writing so seems hypocritical.

I'd be a bit pissed if thormind and eye patch make it out of the wall. They were both on top of the wall. No way in hell they make it out alive.

Bran already knows what happens as he was inside the ravens at the time.

there's no cleganebowl in the books and the show is already ahead of the books

i assume that cleganebowl means the fated fight between Sandor Clegane and Gregor Clegane

I didn't even think about then when I watched the first season again, that's legit.

One of the bigger ones that I saw was when Benjen and Jon were talking about Jon taking the Black during King Robert's visit to Winterfell. Benjen explained that Jon could have no family and father no children, to which Jon said he didn't care about that.

Benjen's response was 'You would if you knew what it meant'

AKA Benjen was aware that Jon is a legitimate Targaryn and rightful heir

He says the books will fill you win, so does that mean he wants the show to cover topics that aren't covered well in the books? Because I remember him complaining about the show outpacing his writing so seems hypocritical.
I would like to see a series about the first long night, 8,000 years before GoT. That way you don't have to re-cast younger versions of characters and big plot points aren't already ruined by the GoT storyline.

The war between the first men and the children, the andals conquering south Westeros, Bran the builder creating the wall and Winterfell, the creation of the Night King, the Stark's being among the first men and the first to alliance with the children, potentially the first three-eyed raven.... Possibilities are endless.

Could even tie in how the Starks and Targaryens are the only families with magic blood. Targaryens are resistant to fire, and starks have greensight and warging abilities.
