Was leaning towards Bathory and de Rais, but can't really say what's history and what's legend. Fascinating stories though.

I'll go with Jack the Ripper.

And he served 14yrs in prison and 3yrs on looney bin. Now a free man.
Think i saw a documentary on this one. Maybe different since this one it was with little children boys and girls and i think something like a landslide happened at a village that uncovered a lot the bodies.
Edit: was Luis Garavito also Colombian.

jdElYnd-xMo[/youtub]
He wrote a poem:

'Excitement's Crave'

All those mortal's surviving birth
Upon facing maturity,
Take inventory of their worth
To prevailing society.
Choosing values becomes a task;
Oneself must seek satisfaction.
The selected route will unmask
Character when plans take action.
Accepting some work to perform
At fixed pay, but promise for more,
Is a recognized social norm,
As is decorum, seeking lore.
Achieving while others lifting
Should be cause for deserving fame.
Leisure tempts excitement seeking,
What's right and expected seems tame.
"Jessie James" has been seen by all,
And "Son of Sam" has an author.
Others now feel temptations call.
Sacramento should make an offer.
To make a movie of my life
That will pay for my planned exile.
Just now I' d like to add the wife
Of a Mafia lord to my file.
Your East Area Rapist
And deserving pest.
See you in the press or on T.V.
The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.

Wow just read his story. Fucced up dude, but at least he sort of had a code of honor.

Never hurt women or kids and mostly killed p.o.s. criminals. Didn't seem to do too much harm to the general public. I can respect him for taking out quite a bit of trash.

I guess that's why he lasted so long. He was kind of doing the cops a favor.

I'm sure has had more hours of study devoted to him than every other serial killer put together.

Very interesting theory came across year or two ago, how a named witness for one of the earlier killings has some credibility as a suspect. Can't remember details will look up later

Don't think that's quite right, assaulted his wife numerous times and stabbed her. Killed at least a couple of random people to show off to his boss.

I don't find any of them interesting. People like Manson should have met their end long time ago instead of making that whole circus.

I never understood peoples' fascination with serial killers.

Most serial killers are coward pieces of chit preying on the weak.

That's what's so different about kuklinski. He was playing some 'most dangerous game' chit. Like a real life GTA character. Taking out enemy mobsters and other low lifes.

This....I got my psychology credit from a criminal psychology class and we had to do a serial killer profile. The Ripper Murders ended up getting assigned to me and the case is absolutely fascinating. If you guys are fascinated by this chit, thenhttp://www.casebook.org/suspects/is a pretty interesting read.

Two interesting theories are....

Lewis Carroll (Yes the dude that wrote Alice in Wonderland....I don't think he was The Ripper but it's interesting.)
http://www.casebook.org/suspects/carroll.htmland the "Jill the Ripper" theoryhttp://www.casebook.org/suspects/jill.html

But I think Jack the Ripper was definitely one of these dudes.
