Most of the keys are underwater, the streets of downtown Miami have been tranformed into a river knee deep, haven't seen much footage of south beach but I'm sure ocean drive is part of the ocean now and there hasn't been much footage of ocean front properties in coral gables and the likes because everyone evacuated, but those houses are probably surrounded by water as well. Not to mention Cuba, parts of DR, and those other small islands got WRECKED.

and in the end mother nature had her own course. if it hadn't gotten stuck over Cuba it would've been much worse.

Wow, that's terrible. Imagine losing everything you've worked for.

Reporting in from downtown Ft Myers. Worst of it has passed us, and somehow condo did not lose power at all. Lost 2 of our palms out front and some of the foliage however.
I did see either a downed power line or a transponder sparking up a few blocks away. Thought for sure something was catching fire.
About to pop the scotch again for the night and ride the rest of it out. Hope my 239 crew was alright.
Edit: mirin perfect post and rep power symmetry hehe
