Guy in friend group casually insulting me in front of women

Basically a guy who's not my friend but in my friend group is casually insulting me but only when there are women around. I feel he is doing this in an attempt to amog me or something like that. I pulled him to the side and asked him to stop but he said it was all fun and games and he doesn't really mean any of it so I said whatever man.

Let me give you an example. Me and my buddies were chilling at our apartment with a few girls and I walk in, the first thing he says is "hey look, its my favorite kunt again" and everyone laughs it off(we're not Australian btw). I just shrug and go about the day. Or when we went to the movies and I said I didn't want to watch a certain movie he said "haha your such a scared little **** for not want to see that". Keep in mind this was around some girls we brought with us.

Its just peculiar to me that hes really nice and friendly when we are with our bros but around women he casually throws out offensive things to me

I'm not sure if I should say something or if I'm being too much of a hard ass and should let it go as banter.

UPDATE: So as of right now our group of friends is planning a barbecue this Friday night. We're gonna have some girls over so he will definitely try to insult me as usual. I'll load up on some fat/balding jokes so I have a witty response to shut this guy down. Worse comes to worse, I'll fight him then and there but he has the edge because he has about 50 pounds on me but he is like 40%+ bodyfat. I'll have my twin brother as back up though(if need be). To put in perspective, we are all around 5 foot 8 with me and my brother being roughly 155lb while we are both pretty lean. He may have strength but I have speed/agility.

There is no reason to come up with something witty. Just tell him straight up infront of everyone to shut his fat balding mouth and slap the hat off his head. You gotta shut down them HARD or they will keep coming at you. Rather have people think I'm a dick for a few days and let it pass then constantly trying to one up some prick everytime I run into them.

This approach depends on your audience and who you are with. If you're with people you don't really care about sure.

If you're with people you are interested in getting into/staying in their social circle coming off like a hardass like in front of the group wouldn't be the best idea. Makes you look a lot better if you can be funny/still get your point across by just being wittier than the baldcel.

I am biased however because my friends and I have constantly ripped on each other, so trying to one up someone is second nature to me.

I see that you are 20. Could be harmless, but I had a friend like that at your age who got worse and worse as time went on. At one point found out he was hitting on girlfriends, he'd start trying to fight me, etc...I finally went NC.

I realized when a girlfriend told me that the guy was jealous of me. This may be the case with your friend too. Something to consider.

The girls probably don't care honestly.

I've sen it too and it's chitty. But saying "hey it's my favorite kunt" is no different than saying "hey it's my favorite fuker"or something. Real personal insults are different where they are actually making you look bad. I doubt either of the sloots even gave a chit about these ones.

EDIT: and responding with something about him being fat and bald would be funny for us to read about, but in real life the chicks would probably be wondering how insecure OP had to be to escalate something so innocuous to that level. If anything pull the guy aside and tell him to stop doing that or chit will get ugly.

]I guess it would depend on how the guy is when no women are around. If his personality is the same, then its just normal banter. If the guy is noticeable on the offense and trying to be demeaning, regardless of how miniscule, around females then that can lead to problems.

EDIT: This is why I was against the " getting in his face" idea, because it makes OP look like a try hard for something so stupid.

Being able to just be wittier and play the game lets the other guy know he won't get a free pass to say stupid chit, and you don't come off poorly

What id do is follow him into the toilets and slap the **** out of him and probably shove his head down the toilet. But I have a personality disorder. Apparently people like him are okay to behave like that and they don't have personality disorders. I used to come across people like that in the past and because I don't have a quick wit ,they would just carry on and they would get worse and humilitate me more,thats what will happen if you don't do anything ,he will just get worse . In the end I got sick of it and just started hurting people like him and apparently this is wrong.

I suspect he is insecure and needs someone to put down to feel more comfortable, you are that someone. you have three options, if you are quick witted talk worse **** back to him so he shuts up. If you can't do that ,hurt him so he don't do it anymore or the third option is just to avoid him. It really angers me that people like him put others who don't feel the need to make people uncomfortable into these situations because they secretly hate themselves.He probably feels uncomfortable around the women, if he alright when women aren't there?

But again, why make excuses for him? why are we trying to understand him, ? I don't understand why we have any sympathy for people like him,if he is that insecure he needs to see a psychologist like I do,thing is despite my problems I don't feel the need to insult other people to make myself feel better.
