Yeah it's getting a little fuking ridiculous, every show of theirs has some kind of sexual minority plot-line shoehorned in just because. I'm watching Bojack Horseman right now and this whole Todd being asexual story arc they crammed in there just feels so out of place, it's unfunny as fuk and adds nothing to the show except awkwardness. Throws the entire tone of the show off, and they're doing this with all their originals now. Like Narcos s3, in the middle of negotiation a drug deal and suddenly "Hey btw Pacho.. It's okay that ur a ******* I don't mind, be your own fabulous druglord self"

Should probably cancel my subscription too tbh, they've gone to absolute chit lately. Can just pirate what few good shows they manage to produce, don't really feel like financing this brainwashing anymore.

I can't wait to see what they do to the Stranger Things kids in season 3 or 4 when they're in their teens. I'm sure the black kid will mack and the two white boys will probably realise they actually love each other and their gay love saves the world from the 'other side' the symbolic beast of the republicans.

Does Netflix force you to watch every show that is presented on the platform? I don't use it but I thought it was basically a huge content of library from which the user could watch based on their interest. Hence why they have trailers & if a show wasn't to your taste all you had to do was ignore it.

Yea true, it wasn't the casting that annoyed be but more the reaction of the SJW crowd. They all loved it for being so diverse and what not, but it doesn't make sense. If someone casted a white guy to play a black character there would be a backlash, but when a black guy plays an asian character it's diverse and progressive.

It's just the double standard that annoyed me

also true. i've noticed it mostly regarding them pushing the 'plant-based diet' agenda. overkill is too subtle a term to describe their approach. however, i still really enjoy what netflix has to offer and it is easy as pie to disregard the blatant agenda and watch what appeals to me

I hear ya. I just think that the best actor should get the job. I thought that the dude who played L worked for the part. I'd like to see more black characters that aren't fast quipping caricatures or stereotypes, but just regular parts who happen to be black,but I also agree that they shouldn't use affirmative action for movies.

I think that the massive retardation of the SJW leftists in this countr, and the hardcore Hollywood/Media agenda, has just put people like you (and me as well) automatically on the defensive. It is sad. It is like when you get a doctor, and he is black, you have to automatically think "Is this guy smart? Did he get this job on his own merits, or did he achieve this with affirmative action and score less points than a white or Asian doctor would have had to, while still getting the degree and job."
It is hurtful to the black doctors who are highly intelligent, and did achieve their positions on their own merits at a level at or above their peers, and it is hurtful to the patients who have to wonder if they are receiving the best possible treatment available.
