then a man of a certain background.... cough cough........ basically stood in the front of the line and tried to skip the whole line and grab some chicken when the employees brought some more. the guy next to him who was in line, told him that there is a line behind him and he needs to get in line..... and the guy ignored him and still tried to skip.

when he reached his hand to accept a new chicken from the staff, everyone in line started yelling and saying he skipped the line...... and the staff told him he has to get in line.

he STILL refused and stayed near the front trying to skip.

everyone else was in an orderly line...... but this one guy. cough cough

This ^^^

Using the microwave to heat something up. Using hot water to shower in. Washing clothes. Using the A/C or a fan. Charging your cell phone. All things that would be nice right now.

Do you have FPL? They're saying the west coast won't be fully restored until 9/22

Just want A/C, don't care about the rest. FPL saying my power won't be back till possibly Sunday night, so rather than sweating my balls off I'm staying at a buddy's house.

No evac for hurricane, but evac'ing for lack of A/C

majority of our street lights don't work. This one type of background cough cough does not know what a 4 way stop is. They just pretend the lights are green

got power back today. the damage hear on the east coast is a torn screen(because of some weird sline holding it) , which allowed debris into my pool so now I have to drain most of all of it as it's **** brown. leaves all over my lawn and a few broken branches. some shingles ripped off. we live on a cul-de-sac on a lake and the lake overflowed, allowing the water to come about 1ft from my garage door. this was NOT a category 1. this was a HIGH 2.

Still waiting on power to be restored. Still have food, and taking a tepid shower is quite refreshing actually.

Tired of hearing people bitch about no power, and how they're going to make claims to Duke energy for their spoiled food. Lmao.

Was told it could be a few more days until power is fully restored. Meh. I'll survive.

Yeah, the no A/C and trying to sleep in a humid house sucks. Slept in nothing but my underwear the past couple of nights.

I can deal with it though. Took a cool shower yesterday and it wasn't not bad at all. Quite refreshing. Of course it's not as cold as it could be. I turn the hot water on too and it pulls water from the water heater. The water heaters stores the water in the garage. So during the day, it is actually being warmed a bit by just being in the garage.

My kids are driving me crazy though. We cooked spaghetti last night and my oldest said he didn't want that.No electricity, no stores open, and he is being picky about what to eat. Makes me rage.

We could be a lot worse off so I look at not having electricity as a minor inconvenience.

This has been driving me nuts. Half the people out there don't know to treat a traffic light that is not working as a 4 way stop. *******s running right on through without slowing down.

The city came by yesterday as I was getting off work and doing clean up. They had crews getting tree limbs off the road and out of ditches. Everyone was putting tree limbs on the side of the road. So they went through with a chipper. I wish I had known they were going to do that so soon, I would have had more to put out from the backyard. I have half a tree down in the back. I still need to cut that up.

LOL @ these people rushing out to fast food places as soon as electricity comes back on. Do they honestly think that these places had generators to keep the food frozen?

Thanks.

I have 3 boys. The oldest (15 y/o) was the picky eater one. That wasn't the first time he refused to eat during this ordeal. But he is always picky. Will not eat leftovers even if it's food that he ate the night before. Will not try anything new and only eats a handful of things.

But I was quite angry with him. He's old enough to understand the situation but yet chooses to be picky.

I am also tired of hearing them complain about no Internet or being bored because no electricity. Kids today are so spoiled.

Damn brah that would make me rage!! I grew up eating everything so I don't understand picky eaters at all lol.

And yeah times like this are good in a way for some kids to put down the phone/internet and live actual life a little.

The wife and I both told them that we weren't bored with no electricity. Perfect time to relax, read a book, play a game, be social, etc.

The whole eating thing does drive me nuts. My other two boys will eat quite a bit of variety. But my oldest will just refuse to eat and will go hungry. It doesn't bother him at all. Would rather starve than try something different.

For example, we have a lot of canned food that would could eat. We threw out the food in the refrigerator and freezer yesterday. So we are down to things like that. He won't try something like vegetable soup or beef-a-roni or any canned food. What do you do?

This stop light 4 way stop sign bullchit is ridiculous. First of all, on major intersections it is obvious that it should be a 4 way stop, they even put temp stop signs out. But on minor intersections such as an exit of a plaza onto a main road whose light is typically blinking yellow anyway, that should not be a 4 way stop. The single car leaving the plaza should patiently wait for traffic to pass rather than all the traffic come to a screeching halt for a single car. I saw this cause an accident yesterday...car slams on brakes because "oh! Must obey 4 way stop!" When rest of the people were driving through cautiously. Then car behind him slammed on brakes and behind him slammed on brakes and the car behind him swerved eventually someone rear ended another that pushed that guy into another.

Some people are taking this 4 way stop sign way too literally and seriously. Some people out there have chit judgement. In major intersections the law applies but in minor intersections as stated above, keep it moving and treat the car leaving the plaza/neighborhood like any exit onto a mainroad - traffic has the right of way and car coming into way of traffic must yield.

Yea I'm mad. I see people honk because they expect everyone to come to a full stop so they can do an U-turn. Fuk u lady why don't you wait 15 seconds for these cars to pass and then you make your U-turn because you missed your turn because you're mentally low functioning. Fukin kunt

Fuk. I wish we just had roundabouts
