Judging off of the video posted itt, it looked like the cop pulled an automatic or at the very least a semi-automatic smg-style rifle out of the guy's vehicle

So.. Drug dealer, flees the scene while ramming the cop car and dodging other cars while fleeing, has weapon in the vehicle

For incarceration. No.
Prosecutors had asked for lesser charges to be considered if Stockley was acquitted of murder. But Wilson declined to consider charges such as involuntary manslaughter because he found the prosecution failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Stockley's "use of force was not justified in self-defense."

No DNA on the gun....aside from Stockley. Now, I don't know about anyone else, but if a gun is in my vehicle, it's likely to have my prints on it and not the officer's.
