I'm gonna get negged to phuckin oblivion in this thread I can feel it. Phuck it though. Why is every new "hot beat" a slow as phuck beat now? And, since when did rap/hip hop, which requires like zero god damned vocal training or ability to hold pitch, require autotune? I'm drunk as phuck and salty as phuck right now hahaha. I miss the golden days of hip hop brah, and I feel like a salty old b%tch complaining about new hip hop.

Most rappers since the beginning of rap lacked vocal abilities. I dont really see the argument of autotune because rap is based of solely lyrics and not how the artist expresses them unlike other genres where the main focus is how they convey the lyrics. For rap though its irrelevant to a greater extent. Also most rappers dont solely focus on just hopping on slower style beats but the songs they do happen to have a more mellow beat seem to reach a greater audience. I think the appeal of a slower beat stems from people wanting something to listen and "chill" to which is more easily accessible through these types of beats.

I dont like future but diamonds dancing is best song on album...not really beat wise, but I like ppl that are able to add to the beat to make the song better
