It's not really a direct correlation. Endurance and work capacity can vary a lot between people.

I'd imagine if you can do 15 and not feel winded, you should be able to do it.

It depends, some people have better absolute strength compared to muscle endurance, the closer to the weight you can get to rep out the more accurate it will be.Spoiler!
For example I did 155x5 the other day, and my calculated 1rm came out to 181. I tried 180 and got it pretty easily (I should have probably gone for 185 after). I've also done 135 for 13 (and 7/8ths lol @ triceps) which would have brought my calculated 1rm to 191. There is no way in **** I would ever be able to bench 191 though, or it would be a very bumpy touch and go to say the least.

130 strict press @ 129.
17 strict unbroken dead hang pullups - will make it 25 by the end of 2017.
1rm pullup: + 60lbs for sure, 70lbs chin to the bar not sure if above - will make it 90lbs by the end of 2017.

You guys are right where I am guessing.

When my max was 335 I could do 225 for 19 so 15-17 sounds right to me.

Are you literally doing a 1 rep of max of what you think you should be able to do followed by sets of 225? That's pretty chit tbh, even more so if you're failing the 1 rep maxes.

For an actual answer, I'd say 15-20.

I hit 315 with 12 clean/paused reps at 225
I must have poor endurance though because I think I could hit 335 for a single before I could hit 315 for a double (if I remember correctly). In other worlds my 1 rep max was 315 and 335 although a really easy 315 and 335 was probably touch and go.

Muscle endurance does not equal strength
Back when I was foolish and naive enough to do Flat barbell press I could hit 405 for reps but couldn't do 225 more than 20X.
