Incline barbell bench is impossible.

I feel like the angle is way too steep and hits my delts more than chest. Is it worth even doing, I see most people like dumbbells better anyway.

Havn't done those in years... I do cable machine or incline DB... Different angles on cable machine work best for me.

Set the bench to 30° incline if 45+ is too much for u

The entire upper chest contracts in flat bench. There's no point to incline bench if you're trying to target upper chest. It's a good exercise if, for whatever reason, you need to get strong at pressing at 45 degrees, because it trains the delts to work with the upper chest.

That's because your shoulder blades are not retracted enough and you are extending your arms too much. 30deg is the option.

On Incline I like to bring the bar very high on chest almost touching collar bone. Feel this hits the pecs way more than bringing it mid chest like some people do.

Agreed. I got up to like 225 x 8 and just didn't see any result, went back to DB's, they work just fine and are easier on my elbows.

It's never felt right for me, so I just don't do it.

Incline DB press is superior is just about every way.

Hit BB flat press if you wanna build strength.

Its the angle most commercial gyms have. 45 degrees wrecks my shoulders and I can't adjust. I barely do that **** lmao, if you can adjust to 30° like other brahs said do it

Prefer dbs for bench and bb for incline. Just hit 225 so pretty stoked.

I think there maybe one bench in one gym that is adjustable but all the incline benches are fixed at 45 degrees. May just have to bench in the squat rack.
