With empty roads and no cops though a 30 minute ride is also pretty awesome.

Bro you're claiming 100m net worth. That is so far from proof. You haven't even provided a shred of proof that you own those cars or that property....which amount to what? 2m?

Or telecommute. My entire team is remote, I have not even seen half of them face to face ever.

Any visionary software developer understands that geographic restrictions on employment is just a relic of the past.

Bringing the real inspiration to the thread! I don't see how anyone can look at someone who is very successful and say "Damn, I'll never get there".

The fact that they did it, means you can do it, and the only thing that's stopping you from achieving that level is yourself.

Thanks for sharing, also how you liking the NSX? Think the other one is a S7? Those are pretty fun!

That is why I hopped in, we all can make it and it is a myth that the guys at the top do not want people to rise up and join them.

Its an RS7, best 4 door legit daily ever made.

The NSX has been a blast to own. I have never driven anything that gets attention like this does (being an Audi guy) so it was a bit much at first. I can't go anywhere without being mobbed.

The performance it is as super as you would expect but its the hybrid part that really sold me.

I can drive this thing in quiet mode barely making a sound and getting great mileage and then hop on a deserted back road in track road and its like I am suddenly in a completely different car, I love that.

Since I got into cars I can tell you one thing for certain, half of my crew is in real estate. Get your hands on a few rental properties and you have access to an asset that pays you one of the best returns on investment in all of wealth management.

I've got a long way to go. But considering 5 years ago I was drinking myself to death, single, unhealthy, lost my job etc...I don't think I'm doing too bad saving for retirement. At least at 33, I'm moving the needle back in the right direction. I have a good career, married, happy etc...

My wife just started her 401k last year too. I also have employee stock so that's another $15k. But here is what I've accumulated in about 3 years in one account.

Very true, I'm friends with a lot of wealthy successful people, they never bash people for being lower than them, only inspiring them to join them.

Figured it was an RS7, I just can usually only tell by the wheels haha. Have you drove the S8? Another insane 4 door with so much damn power!

The NSX is definitely a car that shouldn't be overlooked, especially now that prices are getting reasonable (125k) as they came out way to strong on the price. I've driven too many of my friend's 600-1200whp GTR's to not be a nissan fanboy though lol

Yup, rental properties are the way to go, I do mortgages for a living and we have a client who is buying every 100-150k house out here in GA as investment property, putting 20-25% cash down, and onto the next one, has a property management company take care of everything for $50-100 a month, and rents out for $1000-1300. Easy money if you have the capital.

We're currently doing this too. The ROI isn't as quick as say stocks or other investments, but long-term passive income is where it's at.

We're shooting for a 50-100 unit apartment complex in our mid-late 40's. His uncle currently manages a portfolio of 50-60 Supercuts locations in the midwest. They just sit back and count the money.

Age: 23, ~35k liquid combining all accounts, also own a small-medium whole life policy with cash value building & 300k in life insurance coverage, no debt

ITT everyone is a top 2% 6 figure earner with 500k in the bank in their twenties

Also to the brah with 100m net worth, whats the point of PM'ing random strangers you know your full details and proof entrusting them not to spread it? You might as well just post it for everyone to see if that's the case..

But pm me for proof, i love looking/learning about success stories

Not going to lie about this part at all.

I worked 12-18 hours a day for 8 years only taking a total of 2 days off. Once the company was stable and had accumulated a lot of great talent I stepped way back to enjoy life.

The other upside is that you have 2 ways to get liquid, one of them very quick. You can flat out sell a few buildings or if you just need a quick chunk of change you can take a loan out against your assets.

Let the rent pay the loan off for you, its like the loan was free. Get your foot in the door early and you can be set long before your best days are done.

Must be nice to be a .01%'er. Soon...
Always gets me stoked to hear that

I was poor at one point, even slept in my car for a time. It feels good being able to live without fear and to be able to help others. All in all I think we (my family) have donated upwards of 500k in just the last few years.

The S8 is amazing, virtually the same car mechanicaly but just a touch less cool looking and a bit too big for my tastes. I am currently looking to be one of the first to own the 2019 RS7 hybrid. 700 HP stock, cant wait to modify it

The one thing I always ask people about rental properties is the question "how for back in time do you need to go to find a time without apartments?". This asset class has always been here and there is no reason for it to ever go away.

Exactly, market fails and no one can afford to buy? Rent. You can always rent out. That's why you buy crappy properties that won't take a huge hit!

That's awesome! I really love Audi's R specs as they don't look super aggressive but just real quality sleeper. Interior's are golden and the power is there, especially modded! Ever think about going to the 1/2 mile races just to push the car? Always a fun event to go to!

My goal by the end of next year is to purchase a GTR at the age of 21/22, but who knows, may change my mind for something a little classier like the Audi! The upgraded turbo RS7s are pretty nasty..

I figured, I was just curious. If it's something you're passionate about, the hours matter less - that said, I always consciously weigh up the costs of 80-100hr work weeks in my youth, vs. the benefit later in life (delayed gratification). I'm glad you're honest because almost every wealthy person has a similar story of long hours and it's important people understand it (especially the entitled generation).

I think for me a balance is best, I'd like to accumulate a few million but generally don't work more than 40hours. Honestly, I don't want or need all the cars and big house - I just want a decent home and car, and not to worry about finances. I haven't worried about finances ever since I was worth $10k though... but I'd love to be able to buy a home while having the cash to clear the mortgage at any time, that's the extent of my dream and I don't need 100's of millions to do that

Looks like I'm on R/C with you, but would also be interested in which software it is.
