Magtech has been on my top-three list for range ammo for years:

Fiocchi, S&B, and Magtech. Really like PMC too, maybe a little more than Magtech even.

I started at one point because I want to know for purposes of preventative maintenance, no different than knowing mileage on my car. For defensive firearms I will eventually replace springs etc even if it's not functioning weird yet, etc.

Just stick it into the word doc when I get back

Thanks for the insight, makes me feel better. My fiance's sister is pretty much deaf in one ear too and does the same thing.

Did it mess with your balance or working out at all?

I just know how much ammo I have, and how much I shoot when I go to the range, couldn't give even close numbers. But I know I have over 1k through my vp9

and some of you guys have seen this, some not. Condensed version from Ikes thread.

PSA 16" CHF Mid-length 5.56 NATO 1:7 Upper (FN stamped barrel)
Special lower for a local shooting forum by New Frontier Armory
PSA Premium BCG
BCM polished trigger group
Trijicon MRO on Larue 1/3 QD mount

This was an intended budget 'nice' AR. Think I did alright.

For paint, it's all Aervoe, the brown is Drab, and then Olive Drab. Was just a quick go, didn't give anything time to dry, didn't take my time, didn't really give a fawk.

My M14 does not like Magtech for whatever reason (Stuck cases), but my BCM did really well with their 77 gr product. I've never had an issue with their handgun ammo.

Still haven’t touched the American Eagle I’ve bought. I’m going to keep track of the glock once I get it. I’m currently waiting on blue label dealer to get them. They were supposed to get them last week but somehow it’s not expected until roughly 2 - 3 weeks from now.

How else can you sell a gun?

Actual Round Count x .15 = advertised correct round count.

Pretty hard to do that equation if you're missing the first number.

I used to keep a (pretty damn close) round count. After a while I just stopped giving a fuk. I don’t own a pistol with less than like 2K thru it. Pretty much only my CZ’s get shot these days and I just keep a round about number in my head.

So wait...you guys actually assume that the average person shoots their pistol that much?
Because they seriously don’t. I’ve only bought a hand full of used pistols in the past...if they were ever shot at all they did a damn good job cleaning them...

Average guy selling a gun probably bought it and shot a box or two of ammo through the thing over the course of a year and then decides to sell it.

Seriously. It simply doesn't matter to me to go through the effort of recording the round count I have through each gun.

Heading up to Fort Collins tonight to catch the Rams at their new stadium with my old fraternity roommates. Should be a good time. Supposed to be a really nice facility. Odds of a hangover are high.

My Huskers are probably going to get curb stomped by tOSU tonight. I'm numb to it at this point. I almost hope they get their doors blown off and keep tanking the rest of the year so we can finish nailing Mike Riley's figurative coffin shut. He's everything I was afraid he was going to be . . . and less.

Only used gun I’ve bought is my hi point. Dude said ~200 rounds and the internals determined that .15 equation is accurate. I’ve also sold guns with the 200 rounds through it, but they were maintained and that appeared accurate, despite that being .15 the truth
