Can't recommend brownells for mags after having pmags backordered for well over a year lol

AIM is good, just that usually one of the ones I listed can beat their mag prices/availability. DSG is fine, rarely seem to have the best price on mags, except those $100/10 PMAGs I recall being good and actually shipped on time that was good. Grab a gun good. PSA good for stuff somebody else manufacturers if you don't mind the shipping lottery

Brownells has been pretty decent with mags lately. That's just my limited experience ordering from them a few times.

I think I've decided to cancel the order for 2ea. Savage 12FVs since I just received an e-mail yesterday saying they're now on backorder with no expected delivery date.

Since one of them was going to be a Christmas gift for my Dad I'm going to get him a rifle he has talked about wanting for years instead. Left handed thumbhole Savage .17HMR with stainless bull barrel. He's never been able to find one anywhere but Zanders has them in stock and I can order it through a LGS.

Then I'm going to order a 6mm Creedmoor Criterion barrel for my Stevens 200 action and build it. Decided on a Burris XTR II after Special has been recommending them forever. That's the plan at least.

I'm wondering if I would be able to reach the switch with strong hand. My finger is usually indexed on the front of the trigger guard. The holsters are another dilemma. The Tustler has plenty of reviews but is $20 more than the Priority 1. Both look to be very similar design/material .08 boltoron.

NM - ordered the TLR-6 and the Priority 1 holster because it covers the mag release and the Tustler does not. I have to take it off for GFZs etc, so rather have the mag release covered so I'm not accidentally bumping the mag release.

$130 total vs $180 if I would have done it all through Amazon and got the Tustler.

Fedex Ground in VT are such fukking crooks.

Supposed to have a rifle delivered yesterday. Still nothing by 4PM so I check the tracking. SHows it arrived at the fedex facility in Williston, VT at 0830 and at 0915 was marked "business closed/customer unavailable" and delivery attempt delayed till Tuesday.

1. No way they loaded a truck full then made it from williston to my house in 45 minutes

2. I was home
