looks nice but that skeletonized trigger looks trashy. not Cabot levels of trashy but something i'd replace immediately

I don't know that Choate is bad, but they are known to be heavy. Cheaper stocks like B&C, Choate, etc are still kind of iffy. They advertise an aluminum bedding block, but a lot of the stocks still need skim bedding for a good fit.

Are you looking to add it to a hunting rifle or long range type setup?

Long range type setup. Getting a Criterion 6mm Creedmoor barrel and an XTR II 4-20. Only thing I haven't decided on is the stock. Weight doesn't really matter since I won't be moving very much with it.
