We dont have 'thrift' stores here in the UK. We have charity shops though which is the equivalent (they sell used clothes/ stuff ppl have brought in) my parents told me once that you can get diseases/ illnesses or whatever from wearing clothes from those shops. Some people are going to give in their deceaseds clothings and garments etc which is just ewwww. The only thing I have found useful to buy from there are CDs of artists or books, I enjoy reading (nothing fictional like la dii daa stuff - just useful practical books related to topic/subject I like). Other than that,

We do have outlet stores though with like cheap clothing, but they're generally cheap for a reason. And srs I have leather shoes/ designer bags which I have owned for years (and they look pristine - quality leather material - literally never ages) , I dont use them as much but I could brand the designer bags as vintage and sell them for twice the amount I bought it for on ebay. I have done it before

Its not always about buying cheap things for the sake of not spending as much, cheap things are usually cheap for a reason and it may cost you more in the long run as well constantly having to replace it.

Iif you don't understand the incredible benefits to credit cards if you use them responsibly and necessity of building a solid financial history, you are destined to stay where you are. Slave to corporations if you have a CC lmaoooo. If you're poor, why would you not want 3-5% cash back on everything you buy? I had $1500 of free money at the end of last year after making my normal purchases. Choosing to forego these benefits AND jeopardize your future by not establishing a credit history is foolish in 2017.

We didn't have any established credit for a loan but we got one and we will be putting 20k down not 6 figures lol our house is gonna be about $150-190k which will buy us a good amount of house/yard.
I would live in a tiny house if we didn't have kids though :/

Because why have a credit card when we hardly buy anything in the first place? It's just a scam to make you think you need all that chit you're buying. The only thing I could see would be using it for groceries and gas but I don't wanna do that.

We also don't use checks. I will continue to live that way even when I become a nurse.

Oh yea I was serious. Thats what my parents told me. I mean like you dont know where the clothes have been? Wheres the quality assurance controls? There are none. They could have been swiped on the bum of some 90 year stank old guy and then brought in... You just dont know. Have never bought actual clothes from there. Although I would happily take clothes from my family, I wouldn't borrow from friends though, even then I'd have OCD issues, unless its a really really good friend.

They wash and sanitize everything before they put it on the shelf. Use some fukking common sense.
