Same ones would probably cry about Rifles being legalized if it ever happened.

Sounds like an unnecessary burden and transaction for your LGS. Unless you have an excellent relationship with them.

So there's a gun store about 40 minutes from me that's actually an antiques store with a little gun counter. The guy doesn't stock many guns but if you call and order one he does something like his cost + $30. Basically unless someone is getting a bulk discount he's the cheapest, but you have to know what you want since he doesn't stock.

Called him about the RPR in 6mm and he priced it at $1050, plus 3% if I use a card. Pretty sure that's happening boyos.

Yea they are top of the line. Easy to work on (no tuning cams etc) and are crazy accurate (and fast). The only downside is they had a few limbs snap early on due to some bad fiberglass. That's awesome. Sounds like you have a lot of money into it with the custom stuff. When you say it's rough on the servings, do you mean that you have to wax frequently or just replace entirely?

Why don't you like to pleasure shoot it? Expensive bolts? Hard to draw?

A buddy of mine shoots this bow...it's fantastic. Very flat shooting and time to target is very short (harder for deer to jump the string).

I'm eyeballing this one. Ten Point acquired Horton and now produces their bows. The slim design would make it nice to shoot. Very low draw weight for the 340 fps it generates.

I don't like the color. If I can sell them, my LGS gets the benefit of my patronage when I buy replacement mags from them. If they don't sell in like two weeks, I'll just panit them or something.

It's not a big deal to me, and it's not like I have a dearth of mags.

Their a new shop (Opened in August), so they aren't overloaded with inventory.

Yea I probably ended up around $1500 in each of them I have the camo and the snow camo model both set up identical with aftermarket triggertech triggers etc. Bolts are $100 dozen, optimizer sight base is $175 plus $200 red dot, adds up quick. I have not had to replace a string or serving yet, but they get a little chewed up from the heat. I think I need to lube the rail more to help dissipate the heat from friction. Not bad to cock really with the rope cocking aid its like a 135lb deadlift. I usually shoot off bipods with my back against something (tree, post, truck tire etc). So each shot you have to stand up, cock it, load a bolt, get back into position etc. Plus right now Im only shooting broadheads at a small target so i have to walk 140-160 yards every couple of shots to get my bolts.

The compound cross bows have an advantage in terms of quietness and narrow profile (especially reverse limb models like that, great for getting through brush or maneuvering in a tree. The big downside is the mechanical aspect. My dad had a mathews mission Xbow that was supposed to be top notch compound Xbow and had a lot of issues with keeping it in tune. They just seem to need a lot of shop time after the first few months when strings stretch etc which adds up in a lot of cost if you dont have a bow press and can't do it yourself.

MFC auto bros. My 2013 f150 needs some new rotors.

Since i'm gonna have to throw money at rotors anyway, I'm thinking of getting some 1 step above oe. Also, I'm going to lift my truck within the next month or 2 ( 6 inch lift, 35's, and 20inch wheels)

I dont tow really, but since it's going to be heavier with the modifications i'm going with the "Truck & tow brake kit" from Power Stop. only $60'ish more OTD from the standard OE daily driver brake kit. Good line of thinking? What say you?

In Utah, only 45 minutes each way. In CO, at least 1.5 hrs each way. Sucks.

Who has a BCM standard barrel and a BCM BFH barrel and has shot both?

Yesterday I shot a 2" group at 200 yds using IMI 77gr but people in here are talking about MOA groups with 55gr FMJ.

Comparisons between standard and BFH ELW?

Who has a BCM standard barrel and a BCM BFH barrel and has shot both?

Yesterday I shot a 2" group at 200 yds using IMI 77gr but people in here are talking about MOA groups with 55gr FMJ.

Comparisons between standard and BFH ELW?
I never had 1moa groups from any type of BCM, LMT or DD upper I've had.
