Water then I topped it with some almond milk. Overnight oats aren't cooked. Just raw oats + equal amount water/milk leave in fridge for a couple hours to soften. I usually add protein powder as my sweetener. I don't like the gelatinous mouthfeel of cooked oats. Overnight oats is a lot easier to eat if you have 2 minutes to down some carbs before a lifting sesh.

I think it's just that I'm an anomaly in that most people don't eat this healthy for as long as I have. So people want you to do as they do and eat junk. Sometimes it's annoying, sometimes it just makes me laugh. I do eat junk. I just limit it. I love chocolate and ice cream. I have my ice cream every Saturday night.

I got a big fat Ribeye for my dinner tonight! Hnnnnnggggg...... can't wait to eat it!

My entire family is an enabler, with the exception of my husband, they will try to get you to eat what they eat and excuse their obesity with genetics or being big boned. I mean I'm fat but I'm also healthy af because of exercise and healthy eating (most of the time). Most people don't like seeing other succeed.

Sad but true, and sucks you have to deal with that. When I initially started losing weight everyone was against me even though they all knew I was unhealthy mentally and physically. I ended up losing a lot of good friends along the way.

On a brighter note...
Just ate two chicken thighs that I slow-cooked yesterday, slice of keto bread with hazelnut butter and cacao powder to make it taste like Nutella, and a bowl of spinach with smashed avocado and walnuts. Was so good hnnng.

It sucks when people can't get behind those of us who want to be healthy! Also true that most people don't like seeing others succeed.

Wow, sucks about losing friends because you want to be healthy. It's amazing how good healthy food can be! I save cals all week for my Saturday meals. Usually have a big juicy Ribeye, roasted asparagus and some type of potato for dinner and ice cream for dessert.

I guess since I was no longer the duff of the group I wasn't welcomed. It's all in the past, and have better friends now than ever.

I do keto all week then have a cheat meal usually Friday night. Had Panera Bread soup and sandwich and a pint of Ben and Jerry's lol.

to the keto people in here:

i've been thinking about doing it. what are your personal experiences with the rate of fat loss doing keto and a diet that's not keto?
does it make you look ''flat''?

I'm doing it for (a bit of extreme) weightloss, this is my 3rd round doing it, the first I lost 60lbs, second was about 25lbs, hoping to ride this one until I meet my goal. Once you get past the two weeks it gets easier, you feel full all of the time and with more energy.

Yes you look flat at first, but once your body adapts this changes. I'm female but I'm more vascular now on keto than I've ever been in my life lel. Implementing a CKD and possibly even a TKD eventually may also help remedy this.

Give it a shot. If you know your body tends to run better on proteins/fats I would definitely try it out. Just make sure to get enough water, electrolytes, and greens daily.

Oh and I've lost about 8lb but have put on muscle as well in about a month and a half. I have had a normal BMI this whole time though and wasn't really looking to lose a bunch of weight.
