Hit up a gun shop near me and ran into a guy I know from a gun range I frequent regularly.
I was looking for AR parts and one of the SA said they didn't have the triggers I was looking for but they did. The guy from the range slipped me his card and said he's got some new stuff at some good prices.
Really looking at the CMC triggers I was checking out but something heavier than 3.5lbs perhaps.
Anyway I got some interviews this week and next so hopefully I will get off funemployment and actually contribute to society again then have more money to blow on guns.

For ammo with the same propellant and pressure, is one with a smaller bullet grain weight going to have less recoil?

The gen 5’s are pretty hnggg. The barrel upgrade is not hype. Shooting B8 bullseyes at 25 yards, 10 round strings yields consistently higher scores then my gen 3’s and 4’s. And that’s with stock sights that I haven’t upgraded yet. The finish, at least on the barrel, is garbage though.

And bench testing has shown the Gen 5 barrels are no more accurate than Gen 3 or 4. lol
More accuracy comes from tighter tolerances/tighter lock up. Plain and simple. And tight tolerances/tighter lock up does not describe any Glock in any way aside from the occasional Glock where tolerance stacking worked in its favor and you happened to get one that's right about as good as you'd get from hand fitting.

There are so many good songs that are completely ruined by a random verse of rap. Nikki Minaj is the worst at that.

Just order the Chargemaster 1500 combo from Midway which means it will probably be here Thursday (or possibly tomorrow, they're crazy like that).

Face reality. Continuing to live in California is pure austism.
https://spectator.org/adios-california/
Proud of my heritage, I had this urge to run for the state legislature, so I did and I won. I was hoping I could do something in Sacramento to slow the decline of the Golden State. But it was not to be. I quickly discovered that the legislature was so dominated by far left ideologues, there was nothing that could be done to reverse course.
...
The entire time I served in Sacramento, the Democrats were focused almost exclusively on legislation which either had to do with wealth redistribution or creating new “rights” for alleged victims such as illegal aliens, criminals, union members, homosexuals, transgenders and other “oppressed” groups. And it’s no different today. The reality is that the average middle class Californian hasn’t had representation in the halls of Sacramento for decades. Indeed, I predict the destruction of California will, unfortunately, be one of the great legacies of the progressive movement.

It's in your head.
Take it for what it is. Nothing ridiculously scientific. Just 5 shot groups with two 19's of each Gen with the same types of ammo. I would suspect if the Gen 5 was so much more accurate it would have stuck out. It didn't.

I was skeptical at first about any improvements, as I posted several times after buying it, but my Gen 5 19 has turned out to be far superior to my Gen 4 after a couple thousand rounds of break-in. Trigger is much better, and it is accordingly easier to shoot very accurately. It shoots much smoother and more accurate than the Gen 4 but as I've also mentioned before, I may have got a dud Gen 4 19.
Shot the Gen 5 19, Shield Performance Center .40, and Ruger LCP .380 on Sunday. This was at 10 yards, fairly rapid fire. I know it's nothing special but I wasn't shooting for bragging rights or planning on posting this, just casual Sunday shooting. I swear all the flyers are the LCP with 99g HSTs. That thing is hard to handle compared to the other two. I always try to shoot 3 calibers in quick alternating succession. I believe the top two bulls are 9mm/380 and the rest are .40. The top right is definitely the Gen 5
