Out of all the rate my face/10 threads the misc should know by now. It's about the face. Beards are cope. Same with makeup. For example, we all know the golden ratio and why symmetry is important, right? Well beards and makeup are altering that. Yes, beards are natural and can be aesthetic, but if you don't have good facial genetics the beard is just more cope.

Sure. Hats come off so does makeup. A beard can't unless you apply a razor, meaning its apart of your body.

Its a dumb thing to compare ( makeup and a beard). You may as well say "if you dont look good with a buzzcut then you're cheating" which of course is equally stupid.

A person can look 2 points better from a mere hairstyle change due to the shape of their face.

I have average jaw unless i get stupidly lean so unless you have strong defined jaw even at 14-15% bf then a beard>>>>

Lmao what? A buzz cut doesn't hide half or more than half of your face. Terrible comparison. That's the entire reason beards and make up are compared. Saw a dude a friend of mine was dating finally cut his beard and it looked like he didn't even have a chin.

If you can't tell a well defined jawline and chin on a bearded guy you need glasses, strong jawline and chin will have the beard give a strong taper appearance versus the fat round look.

It isn't even entirely about the jawline. The entire look of a person's face changes drastically with facial hair. My fiance grows a beard and looks good with or without it, but a lot of his facial features are hidden when he has it grown out. Jawline or not, some guys are straight up fugly once the hair is gone.

There are literally thousands of examples of dudes who look a good 2 pts worse cutting their hair due to a factor of reasons.

Makeup "hides" impurities yes but it's also supposed to enhance a woman's face making her look more attractive. At least thats the point of it.

Some dudes have fked up head shapes, big foreheads/receding hairlines so if they buzzed their head they'd look a lot worse than if they had a full head of hair in w.e style. So by going with a particular hairstyle is supposed to enhance a man's look. Thus, you can say "men are essentially growing/keeping their hair out because they're hiding their weird shaped/long or small skull, receding hairline" etc etc


Its the same sht, both are hair that naturally grows on your head, the other is literally chemicals applied on your face that was made in a lab, you'd be a fool to think otherwise.
