Saying that a beard on a 3/10 face is useless is not the same as saying beards can be used to hide ugly. In fact, it is actually stating the opposite, as in it cannot hide the ugly and is therefore useless (because the presumption.is that the beard is.not there because ofpersonal prefrence).

This is a post asking why people make the comparison of beards to make up, and the only reason behind such a comparison is the capability to hide an unattractive appearance. Sure you can argue someone can grow a beard for their selves, but the same exact thing can be said about wearing make up. If you think growing hair out of your face deserves any other response from other people besides a shallow one that is laughable. It is only hair. If you're growing a beard for yourself why even care who or what it's compared to?

Ok I'll concede that you CAN make the comparison. Sure.


Much like with a balding vs not.


But I won't admit that they are the same thing. It's still as mentioned 100x before a utilized genetic gift vs something you caked on and that's why you can't call it the same thing. Same intent?Maybe. Same thing? no.

We actually agree. Attractive women wear makeup all of the time and I appreciate the fuk out of their attention to detail. Women that wear makeup for themselves feel sexier and it shows.

That is all good. Some do it out of insecurity, too.

I don't walk around assuming that because a woman I find unattractive is wearing makeup that she probably agrees with me and finds herself unattractive.

If I did **** like that I would probably start thinking about how people perceive my beard and das not it.
