WTC has made it clear that while they are starting in the clothing industry, there is no limit as to their potential reach. Nothing is off limits and it's a beautiful thing

Walton isn't exclusive to clothing, that's the issue.

It will likely be first to market and if it is adopted in the supply chain, theres no reason to go to a secondary/inferior product in Modum.

The RFID chips aren't exclusive to the clothing industry, in the AMA's, they clearly state that they plan to expand into all areas, but are only starting with clothing because they have connections in that industry.

If I were to invest in MOD, I would be in and out, very short term because there is money to be made. I just wouldn't invest emotionally and attach my fiat to it long term hoping for a big payout. Try and time it now while its growing and there is room for value spikes, but have an exit strategy and stick to it.

More than half my wallet is in Walton, but I am preparing to sell off a good % before year end. Its had incredible growth since the days when MCity first sold his funfair for it, but its a long road ahead and I need the BTC to invest elsewhere to grow my stack instead of having it sitting around for 2-3 years while they implement the working product on a massive scale.

MODUM uses temperature sensing chips, how many industries can this benefit apart from food and organ transfers ? RFID chip uses are limitless. There's also nothing stopping Walton from creating similar chips and using them to break into those few niches aswell.

It's like comparing your local deli to Walmart

BTC is not a good currency though, vastly inferior to eth but it's better for holding value.
Wish there was more discussion about this here because it is important but confusing. In short, we know the plan is to let BTC and B2X duke it out and let whichever wins takes over as the "real" BTC. Either one or both will have a component written in by bankers (wtf) that essentially gives them the power to freeze your wallet. That's wrong because 1: it's unnecessary because security is already built in and, 2: it goes against the whole point of crypto.

Seemingly, people in the know realize this and become BCC/BCH supporters but I think still is comes down to miners. I'm sure I have some points wrong, and I'd encourage someone to point them out. Ultimately it's going to have a big impact on "muh alts" and our ability to get them to and from our physical and electronic wallets.

Already stated that they are not competitors and people are still knocking it as inferior to WTC. Don't be some fanboy. I bought WTC at 1.30 and still expect big things, but that will not stop me from looking at other potential gems. Even IF you consider them competitors, the crypto market is EXPANDING, meaning this is not some zero sum game and there is room for growth for all. If everyone kept this "my coin is better than that coin" mindset, we would not see NEO be where it is today since it was once considered a cheap ETH knockoff.

This. I've seen people making 10x on a coin and won't let go because they are waiting for a 20x. Would be more sensible to move that position into a new coin to get a 2x instead. Growth will always slow down. Yeah they can play the long game but who knows what will happen later on.

if this bitcoin fork is that legit then shouldn't people have not gotten out of btc..

this one sounds way bigger. confused as chit as to why btc will not make another run. I guess ill be getting into btc for the 2X coins


also agree this may mean something for bcc but I guess that depends on whether that control of the wallet extends to btc

They are competitors though, that needs to be made clear.

Modum is attaching itself to a niche supply chain, Walton is covering all ground, including those same niches that Modum is working itself into.

Nobody here said that its a bad project for gains, but we also need to be realistic and not just shill it because its new and you bought in at a low price and market cap.

Regardless, I hope it rockets and you make a ton of BTC from it.

We operate by the principle that our customers should benefit to the greatest extent possible from hard forks or other unexpected events. This is essential in our mission to make Coinbase the most trusted, safe, and easy-to-use digital currency exchange.

Bitcoin Segwit2x

The Bitcoin Segwit2x fork is projected to take place on November 16th and will result in two bitcoin blockchains. Following the fork, Coinbase will continue referring to the current bitcoin blockchain as Bitcoin and the forked blockchain as Bitcoin2x.

Any customer with a Bitcoin balance on Coinbase at the time of the fork will be credited with an equal amount of the Bitcoin2x asset on the Bitcoin2x blockchain. No action is required—we will automatically credit your account. So, if you have 5 Bitcoin stored on Coinbase before the fork; you will have 5 Bitcoin and 5 Bitcoin2x following the event.

Bitcoin Gold

The Bitcoin Gold fork occurred on October 23rd. Information about this fork has been limited and there are concerns about its security and stability.
