Yes, very true. Prohibition didn't do crap, and made some people very, VERY rich
I would think the gov't would take a proactive position on just the violence alone.

They were saying that the shooter had tickets to Lolla in Chicago "and we all know someone who goes to Lolla" do we wait until it happens in our state to do something about it?

One representative who majority fell behind said that the bill would make most guns illegal for simple mods and make most people a felon. Glad the 54 came through.

San Francisco 49ers Pledge $500,000 to Push Suppressor Ban, Other Gun Control Measures

http://www.breitbart.com/sports/2017...trol-measures/

The San Francisco 49ers pledged $500,000 Thursday to secure a suppressor ban and other gun controls.

The push comes in the weeks after the Las Vegas attack. Suppressors were not used in that attack, but the 49ers are dedicated to banning the devices anyway.

According to ESPN, the 49ers presented the gun control pledge as part of creating a “more understanding and safer America.” The $500,000 will also be used to push a ban on bump stocks and armor-piercing bullets.

Not watching one second of football all season crew

Successful so far, save for maybe a couple minutes total when it's on a TV out in public somewhere

Honestly couldn't even tell you what teams are doing well or not, haven't read about it, don't have a clue, don't ****ing care

It's like most things, initiating might be hard, but once you have habit/momentum, it's easy as ****

seriously irked at the thought Chicago representatives think gun control is going to save the nonsense that goes on around here. If it weren't for the good guys with guns then we'd be triple fuked.

BRB let them have their glawk fortAYYs and we're limited to 8 rds of peace of prosperity shields or like the likes to protect ourselves against them.

didn't know this, but the highway I've been driving on most often to visit the Chicago Southside business has shootings on it often. Some lady was shot dead while driving. That's fuking crazy. There's a sh*t ton of people who are at the train stops, which are literally visibly seen in between the highway (I-57) that's where they probably shoot from at drivers.

Time for them to add bulletproof to keep a barrier between thugs who are transporting by train vs. highway drivers.

Same here. Haven't watched since that d-bag kneeled for the anthem. I was a big Giants fan, now I couldn't care less. Sundays are nice now, spending time outside and not feeling like shyt Monday. Supposedly people are tuning out, and now they're pushing anti gun crap. Many conservatives and working class people watch football. What's next, is playboy gonna put a transvestite on the cov... oh yeah...

They don't want to call the problem out for fear of being labeled racist and targeting blacks, so they go after something that cannot object and then have the backing of the people that would call them racist had they gone after the gangs. It makes them look like they are "doing something" and tackling the problem. The gangs obviously do not care about gun laws, or drug laws, or laws against murder, robbery, rape, money laundering, ect.

Very preliminary results of JFK dump:

Biological warfare on Cuban crop fields

"He mentioned specifically the possibility of producing crop failures by the introduction of biological agents which would appear to be of natural origin. Mr. Bundy said that he had no worries about any such sabotage which could be clearly made to appear as the result of local Cuban disaffection or of a natural disaster, but that we must avoid external activities such as release of chemicals, etc., unless they could be completely covered up."

You give them too much credit.

For many of them it is:

-Projection. They know what they would do if they had access to firearms, and those things are dangerous/bad, so they assume most other people would, too.
-Control. Gun control at the upper levels really isn't about guns, it really is about control. Many liberals/progressives fully understand that an armed populace is more difficult to force your will on, so they wish to disarm people in order to more efficiently use government (which is of course still armed) to force others into submission.
-Elitism/personal gain at the expense of others. Many of the rich/famous/politically connected who go on and on against guns, talk against guns, give money for gun control, are protected by armed guards, have police or armed private security details, live in expensive gated/guarded communities, and often even have "may issue" gun or carry permits. They just don't want YOU to be armed. They don't want the plebs/general population to be armed with any more than pitchforks, that just makes their guns/security all the more effective (and ties into the control aspect)

Then there are the ignorant masses aka sheep who believe the lies generated by the above who know they can dupe others into buying into gun control through intentionally misleading and deceptive rhetoric, false info, appeals to emotions, etc.
Mil is easier math. You did good.

Either way, you can shortcut the math by using the reticle. As long and the turrets match the reticle, which your scope does, you just use the reticle for a guide.

Great video on mils.

S5AGsHSIsVoyoutube]
I watched that vid a week or so ago when I was trying to decide if I wanted mil. Used MOA XTRs are hard to come by. I'll probably watch it again before I go shoot it for the first time.

I scored a scrap piece of 4'x6' plywood from work today. Going to cover it in cardboard and use it as a target backer to easily measure drops out at a long distance.

Called Nightforce to buy a throw-lever and set of Bikini covers (don't like the Tenabrex), as they didn't come with the scope I found on the hide. I explained I didn't see a way to order them online. I told the CS guy that the scope was purchased used. The CS guy just said, "no problem, what's your address?" I said, "let me know when you're ready for a card number." He says, "no charge man. Thanks for buying one of our scopes".

Today arrives the throw-lever, bikini covers, couple stickers, and a hat. No charge. Nightforce has incredible customer service. Second time I've been able to deal with them for issues that they had zero responsibility to cover at their expense, but did anyway.
