I ordered a DNA test on amazon and it was surprising. He's got a lot of breeds in him, but there was 3/8ths that showed up as "non-specific" that was grouped as hound, sporting, herding vs naming a specific breed.

Yea, 590 is am awesome shotgun. Very affordable and reliable. Tempted to buy one eventually, but indecisive about wether to buy a Shockwave or just standard 20" 590A1

Went to the capital of progressive America with the FIL today. (Boston). Mrs. Ikeman and I had to stop ourselves from laughing at a woman in a "Resist!" t-shirt as we walked from Breed's Hill back down to our parking spot. Saw the Constitution (again), Breed's (again), the Old North Church, and Paul Revere's House. FIL enjoyed it.

While I was out there I used a loaner set of Swaro's 10x42 bino's to get some product experience. I was able to read the clock face on the church tower from the Constitution, which was pretty cool. Wife was able to use them to look at some boats in the harbor. I'm planning on buying her a set of bino's when she finishes this tour, so I'm trying to get an example of all of our top-end stuff in her hands.

took my fiance's little sister (13) out to shoot for the first time. We shot my AR. Didn't have time to get to the G17, but it was still great. She had a blast. This particular range is fun because it has a "tin can" range where instead of paper targets you can set up soda cans and stuff and plink away. It was a blast. they were flying all over the berm. We're here in the bay area in CA so hopefully this starts her off right understanding guns aren't bad and actually quite fun.

I've spent like $8 For a ka-bar spork/knife combo for my lunchbox. Still kinda a lot but I got two for that price and gave one to my apprentice at work. I almost bought one of those flash lights but I forgot and the deal was gone the next day.

Which front grip would you guys put on this rifle? It’s just a cheap rifle I built today. Stag lower, spikes enhanced trigger, spikes hand grip, spikes lower kit, magpul iron sites, magpul stock, etc...

I’ll be using it for target practice and a coyote gun. Thinking about putting a red dot on it too. Any suggestions for under 225.00???

What do you mean by "handguard"?

As far as the red dot, save your nickles and get an Aimpoint if this is a serious gun. If it's a range toy, get the Sparc AR listed below.

Good shotgun, but needs one mod out of the box - firing pin spring tension is all over the place. Some work fine, some will light strike every couple of rounds. It's a lawyer spring that wasn't included until recently. Took mine out, and it's 100%. Obviously less drop safe now, but I'd rather be careful with a shotgun that goes bang every time than throw around a shotgun that goes bang "usually."

Id like to try carrying concealed OWB over the Spring/Winter.

What is my best bet for a close-to-body concealable OWB holster for a Glock 19? No light or threaded barrels or anything. Will rep tenderly.

use any holster you want - just leave your cawk out and they'll be too distracted to notice any printing
