It just really saddens me that so many people chose to remain ignorant and just go along with the flow saying "well that's just the way it is..you can't change anything" or if you chose to do something that would has positive benefits for yourself you risk getting in trouble just solely because someone told you not to

(not because you would do harm to yourself or someone else, but because it disrupts the system the government has set in place. Disrupts their money making)



I had the happiest weekend of my life friday-sunday and got to be around like minded people, but it always hurts to come back to "civilization" and the real world where people could give an absolute chit about lots of important things.
I feel that this weekend made me have an even deeper appreciation for life and how beautiful everything is. Seeing everything for what I believe it REALLY is and just realizing everything really is connected.



It's amazing and just so hard to explain. It's like watching something from the outside and thinking you know what you believe and how something truly is, but until you experience it first hand, you really DON'T know.
A light switch has definitely been flipped whereas it was just a dimmer switch before that I had been slowly turning until now.

if you wanna read this is kinda random about my weekend...

The sunset was the prettiest sunset I had ever seen.
I started to crawl into my tent trying to hurry and put on another layer so I could hurry back to the music when I just sat down and stopped.
I realized at that moment I was completely 110% content with sitting in my tent and just BEING. Just sitting there thinking, listening to other people laugh and have fun in the camp behind me.

After I found my way out of my tent (lol!)
I went outside and looked at the ground and leaves and thought holy chit this is gorgeous! I was wondering if other people could feel what I felt and if they couldn't I wished they could. I called my mom who was watching our kids and told her I loved her and wished she was there with me.
Just wish that everyone in the world could slow down and learn to appreciate things more, be kind to others, and have the freedom to make themselves happy.
It's given me a but of encouragement to keep going in school because I want my work to be centered around those beliefs. It's hard work but I feel it will be worth it

I have a buddy of mine that is atheist, Paleo, and does BJJ. Listens to Joe Rogan constantly and smokes weed. Good dude but some of the stuff he says I can't take seriously. Not because it's a new age way of thinking but it's a level of skepticism that is basis and borders the line or closed mindedness in some aspects.
