Stay strong man. Does lifting make it worse since it probably weakens your body short term?
Ive handled my chemo very well according to my oncologist. I hit the gtm 5-6days a week.
Typically miss the gym on chemo day, or if i have a lot of appointments.

Unfortunately, the chemo i go through before the transplant will be much more intense. Onc said its the equivalent to being hit by a train.

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Keep us updated on your treatment.

If the stem cell treatment fails, there may be other options including Cart-T Cell Therapy. Look into it if you haven't yet.

Ah **** cancer. My thoughts are with you OP.

I just went through radiation back in July/August for Nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin's lymphoma. I was lucky it didn't spread from the left clavicle where they removed 3 lymph nodes. Going back on Friday for blood work/follow up.

Stay strong, stay positive. You can beat this ****.

What symptoms made you go get checked out? I think I'm just going to live until I die. I'd rather not ever know for certain that I have cancer or put my parents through that. Chemo doesn't seem like fun. Hope you get better

Stay strong brah, keeping hope is the strongest medicine.... Both my grandmas died from cancer and my close aunts stage 4 terminal cancer just came back this past week and it looks like this time they won't be able to treat it again :/

But my Grandma was diagnosed with stage 4 and given maybe a year or two and went on for 8 years. My aunt was told by first doctor she saw that she had a year to live and there was no point in doing treatment. Went to another doctor that advised treatment and shes still here 7 years later.

If you don't mind me asking what stage is yours at?

Wasnt eligible for the stem cell transplant.
I was started on Brentuximab. (its antibody conjugate that is similar to chemo)
If this doesnt work, I moved to radiation. and after that it would be immunotherapies like Keytruda and Nivolumab

Drenching night sweatss (literally would need to lay down towels)
terrible skin rash
constantly tired
went from 235lbs stacked to nearly 190lbs in 5months

i remember coming home from work one night on my 26th bday (january) and telling my gf: "I think Im dying" i went to the hospital the next morning
Its been a ****ty 2017 so far

i used to think id be the same way. But i honestly started getting so sick that people i hadnt seen in a while were telling me how awful i looked.
Looking back at pictures, while i was sick, i didnt even look like how i normally do. I wish i would have gone to the hospital sooner.

Hey man, hope everything works out for you.

My dad had breast cancer last year, but they performed a mascetomy and stopped it from spreading to his lymph nodes and the rest of his body.

Hoping for the best for you.
