What makes it so much worse even though its irrational is reflecting on when you saw the pump treated it like it was going to rise for ever, seeing the coke and hoes on the horizon before it crashed to now less then you bought it. I am numbed by the pain, I have flashes sometimes of life selling a ATHs, its much different to the one I live now.

One thing I remember reading from experienced traders which I never followed because moon is set you BTC aside for what you plan to invest on each coin, buy some every week. If I followed that rule, this would not be too bad

Id wait a bit longer and stay with BTC before buying, if it rallies to 7k then good night alts theyre going to die HARD.

Also, feels good AF man I learnt from the last fork and this time timed things right and ive been in 100% BTC. Gonna buy into alts once btc runs up more, or ill go tether. Not sure yet what to do.

Anyone know why there is such negative sentiment towards bitfinex btw? Theyre the ones that made tether right? If bitfinex gets ****ed does tether also get ****ed?

I feel like I'm gonna puke. Made good money on the BTCG fork, thought that alts will keep recovering over a few days, brb 2 days later they are all going down and instead of biting the bullet, I kept holding. WTC, ZEN, NEO crew. All I want from this fork right now is for alts to get back to their previous value so I at least break even, just fuking kill me now

I feel you man. I'm pretty much just trying not to look at crypto for the next 2 weeks, which is what I did when I bought ANS at $13 before the Aug fork. Hopefully a year from now we are laughing about this

For everyone complaining about their alts, this is just poor planning. I know the markets **** right now and boring to look at, but it'll come back.

If you're not planning what you're doing in advance you'll be left holding bags, in places where you could of landed a ton of profit.

Every time you buy a coin, you should be outlining upcoming events, levels to sell and potential market events that can affect price and plans you can follow for each outcome.

The fork is one of the easiest plays to make money, but because of poor planning you'll be holding bags and just about breaking even.

While people that planned, sold their alts at the top, because they anticipated the Bitcoin bull rally leading up to the fork, they will hold BTC for B2X, then buy up cheap alts to capitalise on those profits too.

When should we buy into alts with BTC? Is this fork with holding until the capture point to get the B2X?

@GOATISLIFE, last for, the alts dropped to the lowest points around 1.5 weeks before the point and slowly recovered leading up to it. Will this be similar?

You have to work out your own strategy. I'll be holding for B2X as I think this fork will have value.

It all depends on what BTC does.

I read that b2x has no real 2 way replay protection. Wtf. That can't be legit.

Was going to buy in at $15 if it every hit that low. But now seeing all the alts bleeding dry not too sure anymore. Every single person ITT is so hyped on zen it makes me curious as well. Might not be a bad idea to just throw $1500 and buy 100 shares.
Forming one MOTHER****ER of a consolidation range for ETHUSD here. Jeez.

ETHBTC is retracing into a bullish orderblock at 0.035.

We're brewing something enormous here.

[img]https://www.tradingview.com/x/GO9k9QZv/[/mg]
You saying ETH about to erupt again?
Forget alts. I'm going all in btc. Already have a good amount. Next dip I'm putting what I have been saving for a house - all in baby. Gonna roll the dice. See you bruhs on the other side in the next 3-5 years. Either I will be swimming in lambos or dead from suicide.

Been playing life on safe mode all this time, gotten me nowhere. Now is the time. I'm convinced. Btc is going to explode even more in the next few years.
Ballsy but probably the right move in the long run. I just did a dip into savings for my last round of new money going into crypto, aside from fun money. Plan was to put it into some different top 5 alts but part of me wants to leave it in btc. Oh well, have until Saturday to figure it out.

I think I can afford to be ballsy because I have no debt, expenses or dependents (family/kids). After all it is just money. I can always make more money. Plus I don't see cryptos, especially btc, just devaluing to nothing overnight.

I think you should only put in what you can lose and I can afford to lose everything because I still have emergency funds stashed away. Yeah it would suck to lose all that money I have been saving over the years but you gotta take calculated risks in life.

I think betting it big on btc is a good risk to take. Might as well. I am doing nothing else with the money anyway. Maybe this way I can just I can just buy a house outright with cash instead of going the downpayment/loan route if things go right.

checking in. but i have a bigger safety net than that. If an emergency comes up you can't access your crypto money instantly

how are ALT bag holders doing this morning?

I think this is the biggest one day loss i've had. Down almost 50% on DOVU. lol. BTC is by far my biggest holding so i guess i'll take it as a failed gambling attempt

Damn, BTC putting the squeeze on all the alt holders today. Entire thread except for those that got out of alts on suicide watch.
