Can bitcoin really continue this trend until the fork? If it did it would go to like 8000. But that doesn't sound likely to me

This. I can see alts continue to bleed up until or near the fork. Alts will prob hit their bottom once BTC hits its peak.

Any of you bros do any research on UTRUST? I just read the whitepaper, they are aiming to be the paypal of the crypto world. It looks like a solid plan. Basically merchants will place UTRUST in a prominent position for buyers to see as a payment method. Then you can pay with any crypto that you have in your wallet for supposedly the lowest fee on the market. Also comes with BUYER PROTECTION so you dont fuked by merchants.

as i said before, the biggest movement we saw was way before the fork last time. what happened was:

big.movement
btc stayed
few alts like etp pumped throughout
btc movement

then 3 days before the fork btc fell a little bit. but then stayed between that and its ath right up until the block before the fork

where people put back into alts

i suspect this one will be different as s2x is more legit than btg

but its gonna be a bigger drop for btc. not sure about quickness to alts but i guess it will. i think, however, btc has won over some other people so it may not tank really bad

next weekend is prob the worst it will get, if it gets worse than this

also, i really kept track of it because i wanted wtc last fork. well, wtc dipped to 5 really early on. and the previous weeks leading up to the fork never saw 5 again. so, the lowest prices were before leading right up to the fork

Waiting for OMG and Walton to hit 4 dollars before I scoop it up and immediately sell half after the initial pump post fork.

Right there with you.

Picked up more WTC in the 6's and today more in the low 5's

If it drops into the 4s I'm probably going to go all in with the remainder of my BTC and let it ride until the fork.

Will dump 80% of WTC at that time and decide what to do from there, but still hold onto some Waltons for future gainz.

Lol let me check.

Edit:
Lol, mujie must be right. I got to the wrong site. This fuking site;

https://www.ethconnectico.com/

Didn't check and read thoroughly since I'm only sending 1 eth. I checked the ICO date which is Nov. 1, their roadmap and what it is about. Didn't bother on
checking their team and looking for their whitepaper which I can't find anywhere on the page later.

That's the problem with not being updated on the thread lol. I sold my miner last night and saw I have 1 eth leftover on my wallet and thought, what should I do with it. So jumped on that "wrong" site.
Well lesson learned.
I wonder if that site is even a real coin lol.

Lol I didnt. Haven't been active on the thread lately and I'm kind of just rushing and doing my thing while working. Well, fortunately, it's just 1 eth. I usually spend time reading everything before investing something bigger like when I got into OMG in July and other coins in the past.

Correct. You can still purchase their coin with BTC. If you are going to do it better send BTC now as it took a while to get there. You have 20 hours left.

Well that is the risk. If I don't get in I am hoping I can send back my btc. But they are only releasing a certain amount ever 4 hours and each person is capped at 1000 coins I believe ($500). Though GOAT mentioned someone tested a deposit and withdrawal and it worked. So if I don't get in I will just transfer everything back. No bigger. If they end up scamming everyone, well, that is the risk I took and the risk GOAT mentioned.

The ICO hasn't started yet, it opens in about 20 hours. Probably will sell out in a few minutes, only selling 300k tokens at a time every 4 hours though so if you miss the first batch you'll probably still be able to get some.

If you're not planning what you're doing in advance you'll be left holding bags, in places where you could of landed a ton of profit.

Every time you buy a coin, you should be outlining upcoming events, levels to sell and potential market events that can affect price and plans you can follow for each outcome.

The fork is one of the easiest plays to make money, but because of poor planning you'll be holding bags and just about breaking even.

While people that planned, sold their alts at the top, because they anticipated the Bitcoin bull rally leading up to the fork, they will hold BTC for B2X, then buy up cheap alts to capitalise on those profits too.
See that's the thing, I had a plan and it worked perfectly with the October fork. What I got burned at is that I thought alts will keep rising over a few days but the pump, however big it was, ended ONE GODDAMN DAY after the fork and I didn't believe that they won't rise again. Lo and behold, they didn't and now I'm riding the fork out full of bags.

What's killing me is that I could sell at a loss not long ago and I'd have lost around 20% of my portfolio's value but would be ahead today. At this point, if I sell, I'd be down 40% so instead of chasing the pump I'm just gonna trust the PBC brah and hope that whales pick up my holds. Either way, the moment I break even with NEO and WTC, I'm dumping it all into BTC and waiting for ZEN to go nuclear before dumping it as well. BTC is king

We should've all seen this coming from a mile away. As long as a fork is upcoming, just stick with BTC.

I just cba selling and moving coins; so peppering my angus. Although my portfolio is still slightly up given my BTC weighting.
