Then if this crypto thing really takes off, I will cash out and start my own little thing. Even if I just break even and get enough to live off of I will be happy. I just want to do something that brings me joy. Took way too long to realize this. But hey it's a start.
Coming from someone that refused to get a ratrace job from the start, even with a baby on the way, and just forced myself to have my own business, good for you. Don't wait until you have crypto money to do it though.

I would like to hold 10 BTC (in total value), but I'd need Eth to outperform BTC for a while to get there - right now my BTC value is dropping while $ is staying steady. My goal for the forks was to have my $ remain steady, because I didn't wanna jump into BTC and then try time it perfectly to get back out to catch alt gains.
How do you guys know which alts to dabble in? I swear there is a new hyped alt every week. Posters ITT were so hyped on zen even a week a ago. Not a peep from them now. I swear a week in cryptos is like a year in traditional stocks.

Chit is too complicated and stressful for me to keep doing what you guys are doing. You really have to be on the ball every day. Yeah the potential for gains are immense but too risky/stressful for my tastes.

I am just taking the lazy/uninformed approach. Wait until there is a big correction/drop then buy more btc. I think long term it will even out. The only thing that worries me long term is all these goddamn forks. It has to affect the og btc value in some unforeseeable ways.

I do hope we all make it in the end though. Just a matter of different paths but the end point I really do we all reach our own definition of success. You bruhs have been so helpful and supportive, can only wish the best to you all.

Thanks for the encouraging words. I really do appreciate it. I tend not to jump into things blindly though. Want to get a taste of what I am getting myself into. Already making pretty decent money at my current job, have decent savings, etc. I have time on my side too.

Want to set myself up right if I am really going to go through with this though. I know there are no shortages of start up micro breweries. I don't want to just jump in and fail within the first year. I know at some point I will just have to dive in but want to have some foundation laid first.

Good to see other miscers chasing their dreams though. Definitely don't want to blink and one day wake up in my 40s still doing the same thing regretting never taking a chance to pursue what I really wanted.

Still waiting for it to break 9k for all the over 9000 memes that will surely follow. I think once it breaks 10k then the sky is the limit. Maybe by this upcoming spring/summer. That's why I am hoping for a correction after this nov fork. So I can pick up a few more coins while I still can.

We all hope you're right, no matter what crew we're in. A correction is good for everyone, IMO.

I'd sit it out right now tbh, unless I was buying BTC like you said with a plan to pull out with a stop loss.
