Probably. Just like that guy in the last crypto thread who bought ETH in July/August and said he was contacting a lawyer after it dipped a few weeks later.

I've pretty much resigned myself to not being able to get any ECH, buying in at a paltry 200 ECH every 4 hours is just a waste of time.

Now whether to get into ECH post launch, thinking the price will crash like a lot of recent ICOs. Everyone calling Bitconnect a scam, but has anyone actually been denied their interest payments and withdrawals? If you're able to do both I could care less where the coins come from.

WHAT? I wonder how that went. I'd bet he didn't follow through with that threat though.

Blockcat is a good project but it's run by fresh college grads with zero marketing/business experience. DOVU's team is much more professional and has legit advisors.

lol they cant even sell. More than likely these guys have a $2k buy at $7,400 and they are waiting for their bank to clear the transaction in 4 more days. If this continues expect the real panic sells in a couple days.

Right.

Everyone locked in their prices a few days ago and they are just waiting to sell but don’t even have the bitcoins in their account to sell lol.

I'm hoping for a better buy-in but I definitely want some REQ. I think that'll be an OMG/WTC type coming off of this fork.

Honestly it's been hard picking which coins to buy down here, they're all so juicy! "Do I want a 5x or a 10x, oh **** that coin might only give me a 3x don't want that one!" Even ETH looks ready to blow!

Ethconnect copy pastad Bitconnect website, script, business model, the whole whack. Ethereum makes minimal moves. I doubt they'll invest people's money into ETH. Bitconnect runs mainly off BTC growth, so I'm guessing they'll do the same thing.

My strategy is to sell off one third of my tokens at 10x, another 3rd above 30x, then just leave the balance to see where it goes.

There's massive hype around Ethconnect right now. People DGAF if it's an outright scam. So there's almost no chance it will tank when it hits the exchanges.

You're right about that. I thought of it after posting too. So now they're just stuck watching their coinbase app. I'd assume even if they're down at all when they're money clears, they'll be jittery as hell and will probably just want out at a slight loss of breaking even.

The downright hype is not going to keep price down. The 200k members which i was very skeptical about seems real now after more than 10 unsuccessful attempts to get in on one of these 300k ech sales and the fuking lag on the chit servers

Either wait to see if you can get a 25%+ discount, or buy if it breaks resistance (~$7.8k).

Meh it's fine I want to own some either way and I'm only spending $500.
Coinbase typically deposits your btc in about 4-5 business days for bank transfers. CC is instant but the fees are higher and the limits are smaller. Im not sure there is going to be much "going to 10k steam" left if BTC drops another 5% and then drops after the fork.

We could see another long bear market depending on what happens after this fork and where the money goes.

My prediction is that BTC hovers around 7,500 until the fork and that's when the whole plot unfolds... And who knows what ****ing happens there. I guess it depends on where the profits from 2x go... Either ALTS,BTC or just straight to fiat

Every mini-bubble bitcoin has experienced, there has been a large correction and continuing bear market (1mo or so). Which hasn't happened yet, and I have feeling it will be soon. With everyone posting on the misc asking where to buy BTC (peak euphoria sign)

I think smart money slowly exits to watch on the sidelines

I believe in the BTC crash, everything was lined up for a pump and everything is now lined up for the dump.

Smart money no longer locked in for s2x, dumb money panic selling, disappointment that wall street isnt pumping it. BTC could conceivably get overtaken by S2X as well which would cause even more insanity. Vault storage whales might even get shaken out.

Bitcoin isn't some secret cult. Wall Street, etc have been watching and trading it for years. Normies all know about it - all that changes is more of them fomo-ing in, and fomo-ers panic sell EASY.

Could be wrong and bitcoin will be 100k in 6 months, but its good to think of all scenarios.

You can just see the top alts really wanting to run. I'm just trying to time my move to alts right. I really don't see alts getting much lower. OMG has been climbing for the past few days. I really don't care about the free btc coin if there is any. I'd make more riding an alt pump anyway. I think my plan is to get back into alts if BTC gets over $7,500 again.

What's everyone buying into?

BTC going to $10k from $7.5k is roughly a 35% increase. This puts Bitcoin probably somewhere roughly at a $150B marketcap.

Sounds like a lot of upside risk to buy right now.

ETH and alts are potentially primed for liftoff while bitcoin has probably run out of gas. I made 6% in the past 3 days just playing with ETH going sideways.

Lots of people fomod into bitcoin recently and this fork could potentially shake them all out.
