I feel like people are referring to bitcoin as if it is a given that it will be the more valuable coin. The 2X coin can very well become more valuable. Futures are already trading at $1,000, making it the second most valuable crypto, and it doesn't even exist yet. That means bitcoin will automatically fall by 1K as soon as
the fork happens. Then whales can dump their BTC to buy B2X at a fraction of the cost. Wiping out the BTC value (down to 2k) and pumping up the B2X price (up to 5k). Making it a ridiculously profitable trade. Then all the miners will move hashing power over to B2X, and then exchanges view B2X as the main chain. Completing the hijack of Bitcoin.

Am I crazy? Or is everyone crazy for not seeing this coming?"

Are most places going to disable trading with bitcoin for 24hrs or so while the fork happens? Is anyone else going to get their 2x coins and then cash out all their btc soon as possible and see what happens?

Usually they close down wallet transfers. You can still trade though. They will just capture your bitcoin balance on the exchange.

If it passes, that's another item off the danger list and it comes out stronger than ever. If it fails, and everything gets f*cked for good, then it was never meant to be.. and I don't think I can ever trust another crypto again. But I'm confident things are gonna be fine
