All the app really seems to be doing is making everything a shade paler, and then recognizes the eyes so lightens up the eyelashes just a bit more than everything else.

She probably is. Its not like this app has an x-ray, it just desaturates and lightens.

I just tried this, both adding and removing makeup on barefaced pics and makeup face (won't post face here because I'm ugly with and without) but I'll use Jeff as an example.


What it does:
1. makes you more pale/blue via desaturation most likely. When applying makeup in this app it darkens your skin and makes it orange, and vice versa. The results will be more dramatic on somebody paler.
2. Adds gainyness or sharpness to your skin. I guess it assumes that people don't take care of their skin
3. Add makeup darkens your brows drag queen style, so remove will make them really light. In the case of Emma who already doesn't fill them in, it's going to make them near transparent
4. Makes your lips lighter. I don't think anybody has lips as light as Jeff after editing in the first pic. However nude/light lipstick is big now. Lightening those won't revert them to their natural pink.
5. Darkens the inner corners of the eyes, as many women who have allergic shiners cover them up with concealer.
6. Attempts to remove eyeshadow and eyeliner around the eye. When I did it, it actually failed to remove my liner, but made everything else super light eventhough I didn't have shadow on.
7. Anti contour. Obviously this will look really bad on somebody not contouring.

Overall I think it's accurate on women who are wearing what the above attempts to cancel out, but not so much on other techniques. Its still a cool app though.

This app is revolutionary, hopefully it'll cause women to less wear makeup because its value is far less once you can "remove" it at a click. This guy deserves to be a millionaire.
