I had to refresh the site for a few minutes, sent the ETH with the highest GAS and GWEI possible. Cost $1.86 for the transaction, but I managed to get the full amount I wanted

Was a walk in the park compared to the bullsh!t Ethconnect hell I had to go through

To be honest I was hoping a little bit of volume on tuesday and wednesday for walton and omise.

But absolutely no volume. The weekend dip is coming too. Incredibly difficult situation for holders. What's making me hold is the fact that I'm still up on my initial investment. But imagine the people that went in at 12 $ / 8 $ respectively. Rough time bros, rough time.

All the attention BTC is getting from wall street is a worry though

Those guys don't offer anything to their clients that they can't influence

Be interesting to see what effect the CME futures market has on BTC moving forward - my first instinct says no effect because it's cash settled so is essentially a gambling contract. But that begs the question of how CME intends to always win on trading it. True of course they can design spreads/fees to always win but historically they've shown their strategy to be manipulation and naked shorts (see precious metals, stocks, forex).

Still, keep stacking because fiat is dead in the water, cat's out of the bag now, no matter which ones it ends up being we're going to see cryptos replace fiat

Relatedly, I'm quite sure we wont seeTHE ONEcrypto currency - there's no economic reason multiple cryptos can't exist competing with each other in perpetuity. We only see a lack of competition in currency markets due to the monopoly governments have on fiat.

Looking back. I wish I sold when Walton initially doubled, but i was thinking it could go beyond that.

Not so much for that money gained, but because i could have sold and got in around where i got back in at.

It's still not quite there, but its low enough

No, it just gives the old folks who don't understand the internet a vehicle to expose their portfolio to BTC

Having said that, it probably helps legitimize BTC in the minds of people who would otherwise call it a ponzi scheme etc

But i'l reiterate that there is no economic mechanism (in an unhampered market) which necessitates asinglecirculating currency - the only reason we see this in the world is due to the machinations of governments. I.e. hampered markets

So long as the crypto markets remain unhampered there'll be reason to expect multiple currencies competing with each other - which is awesome for everybody

I think there has to be only a couple cryptocurrencies if the goal is to use as a medium of exchange for a massive group of people due to the volatility of its price. Like if Bitcoin is worth 5 million and it's only capable of moving about 1-2% a year at that point, then it's a safe bet
