I get it. I just don't like that the constant dialogue these days is about how men need to change, and the degree to which we're taking this "safe space" nonsense. There should be an equal amount of dialogue on why women seem to be uptight about everything if we're going that route.

For example, if I'm on a beach in Cancun and some woman slaps my ass or makes a comment that I look good, I take it as a compliment. Maybe the dialogue should be about why women would have a problem with the same happening to them. About how they need to take responsibility for not taking every stray glance from some guy as predatory or "creepy".

Just playing devil's advocate.

Not to mention I don't trust anybody, you never know who someone really is. The person taking a piss besides you could be an extreme ****phile and you'd never know.

EDIT: To be clear, I'm aware that 99/100 times everything would be fine. I don't know if you have kids or not, but when you're a father you don't take any chances with that 1/100 possibility
Ii understand where you're coming from. It's fine to be worried about someone accosting your daughter. And I get that society is society and there are weirdos out there.

But your original post said that her simply seeing some dude's naked schlong was a "big problem", which is what I disagreed with. Frankly, that view stems from the assumption that every male, with the slightest provocation, is going to turn into a rapist. Which, as a man, you should find offensive.

You should seriously think about what you're saying here.

So the guy is a "creep" because he's 50? What if that guy has 3 daughters himself and is a perfectly normal, respectful guy? You're just playing into all the hysteria. And all of us have seen naked females before. It's hardly some big deal, and isn't going to instantly turn everyone into a predator.

Just LOL at miscers having such a low opinion of males, then getting on here and posting continuously about women and their slooty ways.

Because men and women are different. There's a reason why men make up 75% of violent crimes, we have testosterone flowing in our veins. We're physically bigger on average. Our daily motives and intentions are different. Sexual assault is heavily one-sided, we can't act like this doens't pose a danger to women. A 5/10 female can go on Twitch and have men play her for playing videogames, that's how pathetic some guys are.

No, I don't find it offensive at all. Especially when it comes to keeping your kid safe. Generally "seeing a schlong" isn't the problem, its the situation my child would be put in and the possibilities of danger.

I know exactly what I'm saying, and judging by your posts you don't have kids so I don't expect you to understand. I already said 99/100 times nothing would happen, and the guy is probably some average joe. I personally am not willing to let my guard down for the possibility of that 1/100 becoming a reality.

You say " what if he's a normal guy"

Well that works both ways.... what if he's not a normal guy?? No father is going to roll the dice on that with their kid.

This is why everyone should just change in the bathroom stalls like I do.

Are women really okay with other women looking at their milk bags?

No one sees milk bags at gym but me/10

Problem solved

Wife and I traveled Europe for our honeymoon. We were surprised that they had legit dating shows where the people would pick their partners based primarily on how they looked naked, on basic cable for anyone to see.

I definitely see and understand how our foundations and some of our roots have modesty and to cover up. I've read articles about the early 1900s where it was rare for a woman to show her legs, then was a big deal when they started to and they had old dudes go around with tape measures in chit to ensure it wasn't too short.

I mean, if we transition as a society to grow and accept nudity as not some forbidden fruit, (similar but not same as other countries with lower drinking age), maybe it could take away from some of the appeal to it.

It def would have to be something you grew up with, I look back at when I was a teenager or a young man in my 20s and if I saw HBBs walking around my gym locker room nude, I'd be rockin a hard one 90% of the time. Sure maybe it would die off but it would be very hard for me to not get aroused at that point in my life.

Now that i am married with kids, it would def feel wrong if I went to the gym and saw other women naked in front of me. Unless we both went to the gym together, then it'd feel like we were about to start an orgy lol or something odd.

I guess my ramble is that I am too baked into old school mindset and would be very hard for me to adjust and I would probably avoid it. My kiddos, if they grew up with it and was normal for them then w/e.

It's not about nudity, it's about context. Exposing yourself to a child still makes you a sexual predator in countries where it's acceptable for men to go swimming in public lakes with their dicks out. Its about when/where/how.
A guy showing up naked in a wig to a private place like the changeroom where OP was most likely all alone is very different from a guy taking a dunk at the lake when she's just there having drinks with family and friends. Ofcourse the first would make anyone uncomfortable.

So why is he in the girl's change room then? If it is "just nudity" and having different parts doesn't mean anything, why does he have to go into the girls change room? Why can't he go into the change room where other schlongs are?

I don't think anyone is lumping all men together, just acknowledging that there's a segment out there that exists. Hence all these sexual harassment/assaults claims

Vox, I'm following up on this with an example.

In my office, I worked with this guy who was really nice. He helped me out when I started, always answered questions, and we bullchitted all the time.

Flash forward 9 months later SWAT entered our building, took him out in cuffs because he was found guilty of 20+ charge of child pornography and having videos of his OWN granddaughter naked on his computer...

I NEVER got the vibe from this guy. The idea of someone like this potentially sharing a restroom with my kid is terrifying.

All of this.

Though I do think the fear of some rapist or ****phile purposely identifying as a female is quite exaggerated, the possibility still exists. And why should women have to put up with a man in their locker room just because he believes he's a woman for whatever reason? There's an obvious disconnect here from the often overblown attention everyone is giving to sexual harassment and "rape culture" and this somehow being okay. Louis CK whipping his dong out without consent? He's a borderline rapist. A tranny whipping his dick out in a locker room without the consent of the women there? The women need to get used to it. Maybe it shouldn't be required of them.

This isn't the equivalent of the desegregation of schools, and it shouldn't be treated as such.

Yep. People seem to think this is about nudity. it's about more like exposing women to creeper types who may assault, stalk, or creep on them. Do some think creepers won't secretly tape/photo women in the shower, or lockerroomfor example? Or steal their clothes?

Don't see how whipping out a dick in a woman's face without her consent is any worse than whipping out a dick in front of a man's face without his consent

Pervs gonna perv, gay guys can be pervs too

I also don't want women throwing their titties in my face at the gym

Women can also be pervs

male/female bathrooms/changing rooms aren't going to stop the pervs

pervs gonna perv

Like I say, I understand there are weirdos out there. Go back to my original statement. I was simply pointing out that just seeing a man naked shouldn't be offensive to any female, no matter if she's 8 or 80.

Somehow, miraculously, I've made it through my life without groping anyone at work, exposing myself on a playground, or even drying my nuts with the blow dryers in the locker room. So personally, I'm still going to find it offensive for anyone to assume I'd do otherwise.

2017 and people will say with a straight face that someone with a big, dangling dikk is a woman. We could've went to the stars, but we chose this reality instead.

And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his gods?

Well that's your opinion. I don't think young girls that age should be walking around exposed around other naked adult men. There is a time and place to learn about sexuality and it isn't at 8 years old in the bathroom or changing room.

And yes, I can easily see why someone would be offended. I however don't get offended by anything, I don't even like using that word. I just don't give a chit what anyone's opinion of me is.

I was trying to summarize my point, and you did it. This is what the point of my argument is ^^^

If you choose to be one of those people who assume everyone is good and innocent, that's fine. That's your personality. That isn't mine or many others. I protect those I love with fierce passion, and at whatever cost.

I worked at a gym for a quick minute in college...I don't think people know what they're asking for here.
Even if they dont, I don't enderstand why people are acting as if their culture is somehow better and we just need to be liberated. This isn't a guy naked on the beach. A private place is very different from a public one, and he's coming to a private one and exposing himself. If from one of the more nudity friendly countries and a man showing up nude in a womens washroom or changeroom is still seen as gross and weird.

This is why I'm glad that I live in a small Midwest rural town of a couple thousand people, we can be close-minded and not have to compromise in our beliefs.

This is worth a read, a comic by the Oatmeal that explains why people are so resistant to change.

Okay I don't really understand some things in this thread here.

Why would an 8 year old be walking around naked men if there were unisex bathrooms/locker rooms? 8 year olds don't have gym memberships. And as far as I'm concerned there are no naked people in public bathrooms.

Even if they did have gym memberships and access to locker rooms, do you want your 8 year old girls walking around with naked women and 8 year old boys walking around with naked men? I don't really want my 8 year old seeing any naked people, IMO

Lol I just read up on this, you can actually say you identify as one gender but choose to express yourself as another. Liberals say you still have to allow them to use the locker room they identify with.

Simply put a miscer can enter the female locker room by saying they identify as a woman, but choose to express themselves as a man
