BTC price looking less erratic these past few days...I'm worried it's stabilizing in the high 7000's then mooning to 8k and beyond next week with no turning back...should i just buy a piece now?

BTC has been in the spotlight, and ETH just chugging along.
"There is no fixed date for Constantinople yet but it should be towards the end of this year or early 2018 according to the planned Ethereum development phase, or roadmap called Metropolis. The previous hard-fork, Byzantium, was the fifth for Ethereum which went through without a hitch on October 16.
Casper is a game changer for Ethereum. It will move the technology away from a proof of work (PoW) to a proof of stake (PoS) protocol. The final version of Casper is not complete yet and Ethereumโs top developers are still scrutinizing two versions of the protocol, they will likely decide on one that combines the best of both."
This will be huge.

I'm really bullish on ETH too but whenever I buy some to hold I always cave in and buy the latest and greatest chitcoins and lose it all D:

Don't be discouraged by WTC just yet:
- Overshadowed by the giant NEO ( Off course, Neo is a big dog like ETH )
- Most people are waiting for the second boxmining video, as investors still have some questions unanswered about the utility of blockchain for example, or about difference between their competitors (MOD/ AMB)
Also, my sell order missed by a few last night sucks

For the NEO buyers, don't you think it's weird that the asians didn't buy into the fomo?
Something is telling me the news isn't this big, so trade with care.

Just find the pump a little too strong based off of pure speculation and China memes.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

I'm actually starting to wonder if the blockchain and wallet is really going to pump up the value for long term holders or just give it a quick pump and dump.
Being that it's an alt, it could just be used for accumulating BTC regardless of how good a project it is.

I feel like i was totally late to the party considering I knew about btc back in college (2007-2010) and thought about mining it but instead used my rig to fold proteins for science. lol. no way to know it would blow up like it has...
BUT, i feel like its just the beginning for cryptos as a whole, so better late than never to get in the game!
i just started with a 4 GPU rig. I started with ETH and have been experimenting with ETC and ZEC in the last few weeks.
in the first ~2.5 months, i collected about $390. i used $215 of that to buy another GPU.
So far i've got $1700 invested in equipment.
according to my calcs, i should be able to make ~$1.30 per card per day assuming the price stays flat. So it'll have an ROI of 8 months, then its all profit.
Of course i'm a big believer in cryptos and think this is just the beginning. Once they become more mainstream i think they'll increase in value then stablize in price.
The plan right now is to just mine, pay my savings acct back the $1700 and then sit on the ETH/ETC/ZEC/BTC. I'd like to have it spread between those 4 just to be safe, but not sure at what %.
I have started to trade a bit, sold a bunch of ETH/ETC to buy BTC when it dipped to 5.8k. and just making a $10-$20 here and there.

Crypto is not the traditional stock world. The profits get taken quicker, and the price dumps harder. Never get to wrapped up into how practical and amazing a projects/coin sounds. At the end of the day youre riding waves of hype to acquire more btc. At least that's how i've been doing it.
Ask the "You're fuking retarded if you sell verge after they just announced the wraith protocol!" crew how they're doing these days.

I actually believe Walton will be successful if it can get adopted in the real world supply chain, which I think it will.
But I will just have to move the Walton's to its wallet to get it out of my trading account so I don't have to look at it for 2-3 years. Out of sight, out of mind.
Going to be really interesting to see all of these chit coins evaporate into thin air.

How come OMG is moving? I didn't see any news?
Well, BCC didn't move as much as I thought overnight. In fact, hardly moved at all. Kind of makes you wonder.
Maybe I spoke too soon. Seeing some life back in bcc and btc dropping. America waking up. I guess we control the crypto market now.
