Or, maybe posters like you don't see that there are also guys on the Misc that have insane post:rep power ratios, and that part of that is a combination of:

(i) quality posts, ranging from content to lulz;
(ii) participating in forum events that get mod reps (bench contests, charity things, etc); and
(iii) actually lifting, like this person below
