Had a buddy actually fake laugh that I had Bud in my fridge yesterday and asked if I had something else. I've seen a bunch of people act this way toward Budweiser.

I'm not a big beer dude and don't consider it the best (mostly drink Blue Moon) but it's a fine enough beer. Definitely has an unmistakable taste, goes down smooth, what else do you *******s need?

Funny thing is, I had the guy go bring his version of "good chit" and it tasted just like 90% of the obscure "good chit" out there: bitter and standard.

I've even ordered that supposed best beer in the world from Belgium (Westveteran or some chit?). Tasted absolutely horrible and completely undrinkable when it warmed up a little.

I'm a total beer snob.
But if you like Bud, drink Bud!

Westvleteren 12 was an amazing beer. But that's just an opinion. There are several highly touted beers that I can't stand.

Double IPA: Anderson Valley - Heelch O' Hops (fock this is good)
Belgian: Unibroue - La Fin Du Monde (Hnnnngggg)
Stout: Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout
Porter: Founders Porter
Ale: Old Stock Ale (these will fuk u up)

Nothing wrong with being able to enjoy all beers... beer snobs are annoying.

Yes, I can enjoy a Bud/Miller/Michelob
Yes, I can also enjoy a good milk stout
Yes, I can also enjoy a good ale
Yes, I can also enjoy a good porter

Drink what you like... who cares what everyone else is drinking? It's like a next-level insecurity when someone does what your buddy did...

Budweiser is the equivalent of asking why people don't like Old Crow Bourbon.

Pretty much. Adjunct lagers just suck ass.

Try a good brewed pilsner OP, you don't need to get all crazy into hops. Boulevard Pils is a great, easy drinking quality beer.

People to tend to associate budweiser with being a redneck hick, it's one of my fav casual beers though don't care bout stigma. Got my fridge stocked right now with two cases of budlight for family coming out.

This is why. Bud is a Camry. There's nothing wrong with a Camry: cheap, reliable, gets you from point A to point B and even gets great mileage doing so. But if you mention that to a "car dude" who talks in terms of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porches, etc., then obviously the Camry is going to be a laugh to him because it's not a worthy car. The same is true for someone who really enjoys drinking "high end" beers. Or for a "fanatic" of any category.

Beer snobs are a particular breed of ******* because they seem to go out of their way to sh*t on people who drink a bud or natty lite. Booze snobs are usually beginner drinkers, insecurity mixed with a low cost of participation...its closer to a guy making fun of a Camry while driving a BMW they are leasing or a Ferrari they rented for a day.

Extending this metaphor I know a number of very wealthy car enthusiasts who own and enjoy high-end exotic cars, and none of them spend time sh*tting on people who own a Camry. They often have one as a 4th or 5th car for a runaround.
