I have a degree in finance, and admittedly don't work in that field anymore, but I don't imagine 90+ billion loses 2/3 of its value due to a sell off. He's not the first person to do such a thing, should he do it

it takes you 10 years to make a million dollars
then it takes you 1000 years to make 100 million dollars
so it takes you 10,000 years to make 1 BILLION dollars
so to get bezo's net worth it would take a top 1% earner 1,000,000 years to get what he has

his whole lineage is set. (assuming his family stays in the amazon business, which doesnt appear to slow down anytime soon and going to dominate the world in the future) or his family is just smart with money and invests it or be (slightly) frugal with it.
