It’s an ad libitum keto diet. Basically all I eat is fatty chicken, beef, coconut, fatty fish, avocados, veggies, cacao, almonds, cheese, and eggs

I thought the same thing before. It isn’t nearly as bad as you’d think though and you get use to it quick, especially once you start feeling and looking better as you settle into ketosis, after that you won’t give a fuk about carbs
As a Type 1 diabetic I can tell you that avocado, almond, cheese, cacao, coconut and veggies have carbs. Plus Ketosis is bad for diabetics.

Cheese and Almonds don't really have enough to kick you out of Ketosis(calories are the only thing to worry about with them), and generally you would have to eat so many of the veggies where you'd get sick of them far before it would become a problem.

Actually, it’s quite the opposite for diabeetus brah. From the bayesian PT course I’m in:

And you only count net carbs, so the carbs in veggies, almonds, cacao and coconut will have basically 0 effect on your ketosis because they’re basically all fiber

Food list is on first page bro but I eat lots of coconut kefir, cheese, whole sprouted almonds, veggies like spinach and broc****, cheese and eggs, cacao, fatty chicken thighs, guac and steak, salmon

You can have about 40g of net carbs per day too so a little whole dairy is fine. But some people can handle up to 180g of net carbs and still be in optimal ketosis srs, only way to find out if you can tolerate a moderate amount of carbs while remaining in ketosis is to get a blood test for your ketone level. Limiting to 40g net carbs is just to ensure you’re in ketosis without a blood test

What's the point of losing water weight? You're just gonna gain it back when you stop doing keto.

You should be trying to lose fat, not water

Read up on Keto, you will lose fat as well and it can actually improve health. A high protein and fat diet does a lot to your body thats beneficial, as long as you can stay in that target carb amount.

What you're saying is kinda like saying "whats the point of lifting weights? You're just gonna lose the gains when you stop lifting."

IF is nice but nothing will give that chiseled look like a keto diet will. Just depends on what your goals are I guess
lol wut? This is so far from fact I can't even. 100g carbs is still your upper limit to be considered "low carb" by dietary standards and won't come close to shifting the body in to ketosis. 180g I can't even...

I know you can lose fat too, but the OP emphasized losing water weight for some reason

Well you can keep lifting forever. But are you gonna eat keto forever? I sure wouldn't lol

You lose both. Losing water weight is just an added bonus..

Keto is also one of easiest diets to stick to and pretty much the only diet fat fuks use succesfully to lose weight. You get used to not consuming carbs very fast. IF & IIFYM can often lead to binging for those with poor discipline.

I notice a huge difference with my face on low carb diets. I usually fluctuate around 12-15% BF so the drop in water weight can make quite the difference.

Think it's because Micro is the only main character in Punisher who's as tall as Barnes. All the other men are under 6'0'' (manlet power)

I keep hearing about Westworld, I'll definitely check it out.

Nothing will give you the dry look like keto will. You can stay at 12% bodyfat and look better on a keto diet at that bodyfat than being at that bodyfat on a high carb diet.

It’s purely for aesthetics, of course you should prioritize losing fat first too (which you’ll do anyways if you’re on a caloric restricted keto diet, so you’re getting a 2-in-1 benefit of it)

I'm doin keto right now, about 9 days in. Dropped about 9lbs so far.

Energy levels aren't amazing. I train BJJ and feels like both my endurance and explosive strength are much lower. I know it's not really optimal for those kinds of sports though so w/e

In the gym, definite strength loss. Could be because I'm still adapting but chit feelsheavy, man.

About day 4 I got the keto flu but it wasn't too bad and it was over pretty quickly.

Face looks a little more defined but still too early to tell I think.
